sleepy when sitting in one place doing nothing
ever since i got myself dialed in on TRT if i go on a long drive i will have to fight to stay awake till i pull over and move around for about 15mins . this will happen after about an hour of driving. also in the middle of day at work if i sit down and relax for more than 10 mins. or so not doing anything like eating i will have to fight to stay awake till i get up and move around. this has never happend to me before , except when i was starting a cycle but it went away when i got adjusted. when my TEST was at 200 something for a couple years this didnt happen. does anybody have any ideas on whats going on or what i can do to start to figure it out ? doctor being last resort. thanks, TED forgot to say i have been dialed in on my TRT for 3 months at least.

how long do you normally sleep during the night? yes i agree with JPK, high RBC can cause this symptom, and if i remember correctly you did have high RBC and i know you donated, but did you continue donating every two months?

^^^ every variable mentioned above must be checked! in addition, tell us before after workout schedule, same with diet, anything different? I started hitting it harder after one week and killed myself, no way the T was helping enough yet!

Would love to see prolactin and progesterone levels. Both relate to dopamine, and narcolepsy. Also, dopamine receptor function should be considered. The adrenal medula is partly responsible for producing dopamine, if low dopamine is the issue, prolactin can in turn be elevated.

Lots of good and intelligent suggestions but in absence of a complete and thorough BW just speculation at this point.

yes my rbc are a little elevated and i even donated twice in a 2 week period to bring my hematocrit in range . it brught it down to 48, but put a couple things low that have to do with iron, so took an iron supp for a few weeks to help bring it up. i do donate every 2 weeks but my RBC always come back at like 5 something in high range.

how do you go about gettin checked for sleep apnea? i think i need to rule that out too. my girl says i stop breathing and gasp for air and snore absurdly loud that she has too sleep in the living room. i thought she was exagerating but she might not be.

What your body does is slightly wakes up to get air and than you fall asleep and your body will do it again over and over..

Do you supplement with hCG in your TRT protocol? Long term suppression of LH can cause a decrease in prengenolone which will result in a lack of progesterone. Progesterone acts as a natural diuretic and will help prevent intracellular sodium and water uptake, which in turn may prevent high blood pressure and edema in and around the lungs, soft tissue in the larynx and pharynx as well as nasal passages (which could be a probable cause of obstructive sleep apnea).
Therefore it's very important to lower your diet from too much sodium intake, if this were the case, however it's always best to do blood work first to determine what's going on with your hormonal levels. Also, I am assuming you exercise almost daily?
