Anything you can do to help with loose skin?
Been on TRT for a couple years now and all is going well. I've lost almost 100lbs but now I've got loose skin where the fat used to be. Short of surgery, is there anything that can be done to help tighten up skin?

nope ...sort of gaining some type of mass to fill what has been lost, altho there is like non invasive surgerical procedures that "claim" to be able to make a difference after many treatments BUT look in to it cuz they all specify with 10 or so treatments that are in joint with different creams and elixers and even the most dramatic before/after pix are minimal difference and certainly not made for over 50lb loss... all just snake oils lol
if there was a pill cream oil device that tigten loose skin enough to make any actual difference, believe me the world would know about it fast and post partum moms would be the first ti hear of it and spread the word
the elastisity varies depending on one's age and genetics and to some degree the thinkness of the skin in the area..."At a certain point, the elasticity (the ability of skin to spring back), is damaged. If the weight gain continues, the stretching / pulling continues and finally all elasticity is gone. At this point, depending on the speed of weight gain, the the skin may start showing cracks ("Stretch Marks") - these are permanent through and through scar filled cracks in the skin which can never be erased". (Peter A. Aldea, MD )
you can make your skin appear more plum (so less saggy looking) by lotioning with lotion that has caffine or mint in it/ staying supper hydrated/ exfoliating regulary to suposidly stimulate the cell (lol sure)

i know Preparation H cream from Canada is used allot to tighten the skin, the one you get in teh US is very weak, so you go to get the Canadian one. never used it so i don't really know. great job on the 100 lbs!

Hey JPK... Yep, still lurking in the shadows. ...I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. This place has been an amazing source of knowledge for so much else. It'd just be nice to be able to take my shirt off and display the work I've done... Oh well, I suppose there's always wife-beaters.
