    Do I have a crashed e2?

    So I missed about a 1 1/2 week of TRT. I couldn't get my refill. Well after that time off I got bloodwork done and here are my results, taken 06/05/2012:

    TSH = 1.53 (0.40-4.50 mIU/L)
    T4, free = 1.1 (0.8-1.8 ng/dL)
    T3, free = 2.9 (2.3-4.2 pg/mL)
    DHEA, LC/MS/MS: 342 (61-1636 ng/dL)
    Cortisol: 9.3 (3.0-20.0 mcg/dL)
    Estradiol: <15 (< or = 39 pg/mL)
    PSA, total: 0.4 (< or = 4.0 ng/mL)
    Testosterone , total: 543 (250-1100 ng/dL)
    Free Testosterone: 112.4 (35.0-155.0 pg/mL)

    Previous bloodwork was based off of 200mg test cyp. every 6 days, and 1.5mg Anastrozole split up, 500 IU hcg . Taken on 03/23/2012.

    TSH = 0.91 (0.40-4.50 mIU/L)
    T4, free = 1.0 (0.8-1.8 ng/dL)
    T3, free = 2.7 (2.3-4.2 pg/mL)
    DHEA sulfate: 258 (110-510 mcg/dL)
    Cortisol: 11.9 (3.0-20.0 mcg/dL)
    FSH: <0.7 (1.6-8.0 mIU/mL)
    LH: <0.2 (1.5-9.3 mIU/mL)
    Estradiol: 29 (< or = 39 pg/mL)
    PSA, total: 0.4 (< or = 4.0 ng/mL)
    Testosterone, total: 2009 (250-1100 ng/dL)
    Free Testosterone: 522.3 (35.0-155.0 pg/mL)

    I've been feeling like shit lately. Also, my knee joints hurt like hell when I squat down. Nothing else aches. Erections were great when I was off for 1 1/2 weeks. They're still pretty good. Hard to tell it fluctuates. Oh, and after latest test my doc put me on 60mg Armour Thyroid. Once in the morning.

    Ok, so you went a week and a half without a shot then had BW, right? So your levels tanked somewhat. Less T = less E. Joint pain is a common side of low or high E and everyone responds differently at those levels. Example my normal E level is 15-16 with no AI. Once back on protocol things should correct themselves. I also assume you continued the AI while off protocol which impacted your level also. Yes/no?

    Now, to your older BW. Was this pulled the day before injection? Your total and free are way high. Is your doc ok with this? Long term it's not good. And what is your doc's logic for the Armour?

    Here's a great example as to why TSH is a poor marker for Thyroid function.

    TSH = 1.53 (0.40-4.50 mIU/L)
    TSH is fine.

    T4, free = 1.1 (0.8-1.8 ng/dL)
    T4 is best at mid to upper reference and here we are 0.3 ng/dl from being below bottom range.

    T3, free = 2.9 (2.3-4.2 pg/mL)
    More importantly, however, the conversion from T4 to T3 is very poor. This assay is best at upper part of the reference range and here you are near bottom. T3 Thyroxine is the bio available form of this hormone and critical for so many things!

    Both of these could go to explain why you feel like you do and why your Doc put you on 60mg Armour.

    I'd like to see RT3 and Thyroid Anti Bodies as well.

    OP - go to www.stopthethyroidmadness.com and educate yourself.

    Your thyroid function is so critical to androgen health!

    GD, in my case, my last thyroid tests showed:

    TSH 1.82 <-- .37-4.55
    T4 1.1 <-- .8-1.5
    T3 3.5 <-- 2.0-3.6

    What eaxactly does this tell me?

    I have tested for antibodies, etc and all came back negative
