    Quad injection

I was going to inject in my quad last thursday as it has been part of my rotation.Delts,quads,glutes.Stuck the needle in and my quad spasmed.Anybody ever have this happen?Did I hit a nerve?Kinda freaked me out a little.I'm not crazy about injecting in the quad anyway. For some reason it gives me the willies.I guess of all the injections I have gotten in my life time the vast majority have been in the delts or glutes. You know the norm.May stop injecting there because of the mental aspect of it plus I tend to bleed alot when I do it there.

Thanks.I thought it would be more like a jolt of electricity when you hit a nerve.

I've only injected in the quad one time. I was sore for days afterwards. I think I'll stick to the glutes....

I have done it there a few times before.Other then a lot of blood it was painless.KelKel I had the same reaction as you.Didn't know I could still move that fast.I might just stick to delts and glutes too.

Ok, how the hell do you sq your glutes. Cannot picture that. Need to see that video as well as the blood letting into the toilet thing you invented!

I do quads a lot. I hit a nerve about 10% of the time or less. Always causes a mild spasm. No big deal. I hit a vessel in my delts once. Good thing I always aspirate ! Pulled the needle out immediately and sprayed blood on the wall. That'll scare the hell out of you! I still pin delts but go with glutes and quads far more often.

I get a little spotting. No major bleed from glutes. Downside is quads are always sore unlike glutes.

Ever since using 25 and 27 guage i never have problems with spasms. Also the location is important. I inj towards the top of the thigh, though still in the lateralis, also in the middle of the thigh, not forward or backward. Since doing this i never had a problem. Ive had friends who insist on goin along the side, have more problems and are too stubborn to change. Also, whenever I did hit a nerver it was shallow, so i just pushed through an the twitching stopped, finished inj.

You can easily sq cyp with a slin pin. You just can't use large amounts like you would IM due to lumps, dispersion. Bass does it all the time. I did a bit but stopped. Glutes/delts just easier for me.
