HCG monotherapy
Ok, I'm allergic to gels and injections, I cannot get access to the compounding pharmacy's that would make the test without the preservatives that I'm allergic to in the UK with an Irish script so TRT is no longer an option for me.
I had highish normal T levels before starting TRT so low T wasn't a problem but only to discover a few months later my e2 is too low and is most likely causing the symptoms of low T, been on injections 18 days now and am getting proper erections again feeling a lot less depressed which would suggest there as been in increase in E2.
Can't take anymore test cause the allergy is killing me but need to keep my E2 within a healthy range so I reckon HCG alone is the way forward.
Any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated.
Thank you.Last edited by edmundo22; 07-24-2012 at 10:59 AM.

I think HCG is definitely worth a shot as it can incrase your e2, but this situation seems rather odd.
Are you working with a medical expert trained in HRT or just a regular doc?

For the most part, mono hCG therapies are unsuccessful in getting serum levels to optimal levels...if it was, we'd all be on it for that reason.

Roughly how much of an increase would hcg provide? Baseline my total t was 611 ng/dl trt brought it up to 850 ng/dl so only need an increase of 240 ng/dl.

Face nasal passages swell up to a point its hard to breath plus flu like symptoms, its possible that actual hormonal changes are causing the reaction not the ingrediants in the gels/shots, only key ingrediant in everything iv used is ethanol., apointment today for hcg .
