    Cycling on TRT

So recently ive found out i will be on trt for life.
I have been weight training seriously for around 5 years now.
I had never taken steroids . I have had low testosterone my whole life according to my doctor.
Now that my HPTA is suppressed for life, i have read about cycling during trt.
Can anyone give any advice on cycling while on trt?
I am on testogel 50mg/5g daily.

Take control and responsibility for yourself. TRT is your decision/choice & is a large commitment. Sad to read a clown doctor has made such assumptions about your health/history. First learn about hormone replacement therapy and worry about cycling way later is the best advice for Movingmetal.

I totally agree. I was not planning on cycling until a few years have passed. I was just after information. But yes
I have been reading up on trt every night for around 7 months now. Just trying to build
My data base in my mind

Welcome to the forum Movingmetal, take some time and get yourself dialed in. TRT is more than just rubbing on some Testogel read the stickies at the top of the forum. Is important that you find what brings you to your best health verified with blood work. Did you discuss side effects, action and reactions with your DR. Test can raise estrogen in some and may require an AI. Many of the guys take HCG to preserve testicular function.

Again welcome lots of good guys here to help you out.

Glad to be here. You guys have already helped me so much. i want to one day contribute back.
So im taking testogel daily, and in 6 weeks will have bloods done and my doc said that an AI may be necessary. Ive been to a few dickhead doctors and the current one is great so far. he is definitely on my side of obtaining healthy T levels.
As far as HCG , is it necessary? what are the benefits?

taken off a facebook post on hcg , " Fertility for the most part yes. But also a steroidogenesis benefit."

Basically it has other effects than just maintaining testicular size and function. I feel pretty good with HCG in my protocol, really noticed it when i first started it. For general well being and testicular function it is worth it.

On the subject of HCG , are Endo's prescribing HCG, I would think it would be hard to get your INS. company to agree to it.
I am assuming most on HCG are seeing an Anti-Aging type doctor such as Crisler or Shippen and paying out of pocket, would that be correct? It's tough to get an AI through an Endo, you almost have to beg and cry for it, which is not difficult with high E2.

Interested users are best attaining cheap hardly-regulated products/peptides outside the offices, you're correct

Did u ever have ur LH levels tested? If so what were they? HCG will only really be useful if u are secondary although it does have some other benefits for some like increasing feeling of wellbeing. The doc i referred u to prescribes HCG. If ur LH was low u should be taking it to preserve your balls. Maybe he thought u didn't want to inject or something.

Insurance doesn't pay for anything for me. My first Endo was terrible and had to go to an Integrative medicine center, which is amazing, and my doctor is beyond great, and it is very affordable.

Lol 3 injections a week is so easy! Absolutely painless and much faster than cleaning your teeth. If you want to preserve your nuts you should be on HCG . It's not a matter of either or, it should be both if u have secondary hypogonadism, which i am assuming you do. I think slathering on that Testogel every single day is much more of an inconvenience than taking 3 shots a week, but u be the judge!
