Blood work Labs, where do you go to get?

    Hi there...
After a week here, reading all the stickies and reading a lot of responses from the vets..
I'm starting to realize how important it is to get regular blood work.

I have gotten 3 so far since Feb 2012 from being on TRT through my doc...
It cost me around $150 if he orders them through a local Lab. However,
they are sent directly to him.

It's way cheaper to go through him, the price triples if was to the lab and
    order them independently.

However, I would like to get more frequent labs without having him involved
so I can adjust things and monitor the situation closer for my own peace of mind.

Is there a place online that has good prices for Blood work labs that are reliable and fast?

    Thanks

    I use privatemdlabs.com

    I generally get the Hormone Panel for Men;

The Hormone Panel for Males contains the following tests:
    - Lipid Profile
    -Complete Blood Count w/ Differential
    -Estradiol, Sensitive
    -Insulin Growth Factor (IGF-1)
    -Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
-Testosterone (Free) , Serum (Equilibrium Ultrafiltration) With Total Testosterone
    -Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)
    -Thyroid Profile

It's $169, and they always offer 15% off coupons, which brings the price down to $144

Thanks guys... I was hoping there was a place that didn't cost that much.

Too bad there is no Monthly blood work club/membership site available for people who need it.

I assume you have no insurance?

If you do its probably a lot cheaper to go that route if you are getting frequent labs.

I have insurance, but alot of doctors won't agree to all these labs..... Really pisses me off when they are so hard headed.
