Comes with age... what to do?
I eat well 6 days a week... 1 day I cheat and eat anything I want and i'm not quitting my cheat day.
I have tried everything from HIIT (which aside from building some great endurance is worthless vs. standard cardio) all the way to 90 minutes of cardio in the "fat burning zone" and everything inbetween. I'll be 34 in 2 months and i'm tired of working my ass off to get basically no results. I'm not new to losing weight, my protein intake is correct and I workout as much as I can for having some injuries.
It's to the point where i'm ready to get some anavar or start on HGH. It's just very depressing. I think I was low on GH when I was a kid anyway. I have scoliosis, was always the smallest kid for my age. Lost my teeth later than everyone else, am just now growing hair on my chest.... the list goes on.
Basically i'm ranting and whining, I don't typically do this, but i'm just tired of some of the issues of getting older.
I've thrown around the idea of getting on a small dose of var just to help me a little with some fat loss and to help me pick up a little extra muscle... but not get big which I know var isn't made to do anyway.
Just wanted to bitch a little and see if anyone here feels my pain.

Wish I could be 34 again. There are a lot of us doing a cheat day. Does that include stuffing yourself with a bunch of crap or adding a dessert at dinner. You can cancel a whole week of healthy eating in one day. Changing my diet was Key, I'm actually in better shape than 90% of the young bucks at my gym due to changing what I eat.

Have you had your thyroid checked? I never had problem dropping weight in the past but now I can't lose a pound! Turns out I am hypothyroid. I have been weightlifting 3/week and cardio 3/week and all I did was add pounds. I know it is very frustrating but hang in there and find the cause. When you say low on HGH, how low?

well the GH test was 0.2 using labcorb their "normal range" is 0.0-2.9. It just seemed like for my age that should be higher. My IGF-1 I had done as well, but the results I will have to dig up... i'm not sure of what that was.

You need complete BW done...see the sticky at the top of the forum on what to get.
When you get them post the results here complete with ranges and the guys will jump in.
Something is amiss and your blood doesn't lie.

Agree, you need a full panel of labs. Anything else is just speculation.

I haven't had anything done for a while. My test was around the mid 600's before and I started doing 60 or so minutes of cardio a day on the ellipitcal... after 2 months it was raised to 796... the rest is...
