Lower test or viagra?
I have a somewhat unique problem,I think.I currently take 70mg of test E twice a wk.My libido is not where it should be.When I first started,GP Dr gave me 100mg once a week and my libido was like a 16yr old.My TRT Dr started me at 200mg a wk and libido went to pot.Lowered my dosage(myself) 120mg /wk and libido came back.I've since went to 140/wk and feel grrrrreat,I mean really good but libido is once again not so good.TRT Dr said stay on the 140mg/wk and take the blue pill.Should I do this if,it would seem,my libido problem is a little to much test?Looks like a choice between less test or keep it the same and use the pill. Not involved(at the moment) with any women but you know about first impressions. Also,I would hate to take the blue pill and possibly get a boner that might not go away and walking(best I could)into the emergency room with that problem is NOT something I would enjoy doing.Estrogen is about 20-30,total test is around 1200 and free test is about 32 so all is good.I would appreciate any opinions and anybodys experience with the blue pill.I feel so good at my current dosage that I hate to lower it,but what's life without women!I'll be glad when summer is over and they can get into some pants and out of their shorts, with their beautiful hair and tanned legs.Okay,I'm getting off the subject

When you say "estrogen is about 20-30", how did you come to that number? If you have blood work post it; if you are estimating your E2 my bet is you are way off on that estimate. Get blood work and find out exact numbers when you feel good and when you feel bad. Based on your comment of symptoms from higher and lower T amounts, it points to too low, then too high of E2. You need to hit the sweet spot. Adjust T accordingly or use an AI. Either way, you need blood work with numbers to know for sure.

I have read where elevated levels of Testosterone can impede libido and you clearly present those symptoms where lower serum levels increased libido and vise versa.
Try lowering your Testosterone dosage and see if your libido returns like it did in the past. If so, than you will know.
A PDE5i like Viagra is not going to do anything for libido but only help you get a better erection by suppressing the PDE5 enzyme and increasing NO2 production.

I got my estrogen number when I called my GP physician.I don't have them in front of me but my physician faxed the results to my TRT Dr and said they were good.I have experimented and I'm finding that at the lower dose(100-120mg),my erections come back but at 140+,erections are not so good.Guess I should have stated erection instead of libido as I'm wanting but not able to perform very well.TRT Dr did state that to high test would cause erection problems.I'm going to get my blood work done next week(a few wks early) and see what they look like.I'll still keep the pills handy just in case. When I do find my next girlfriend,I want to make a good first impression(I can later explain the situation).Trying to get my Dr to fax my blood work is like pulling teeth,I have to physically go get them.Yes,I'm still looking for the"right one for me" woman at 49yrs old.

I'm in kinda the same boat. I'm finding that lowering my test dose is actually better for libido. For me TRT priorities are like this..for now:
1.Libido
2.Vigor
3.Muscle gain
I prioritize my evil sexulaity. If i was lousy at getting laid i'd probably put it at #2, but maybe not because the better the drive and dirty thoughts are, so are the penile sensations and the actual enjoyment of sex. I think you should kinda go by that. Im finding that even with an AI overall having a test leaval over the mid high normal isnt the best for sexuality. Titration is key. Find out where you feel best for what's important to you, and as long as you can manage your lipids and, hemocrit, rbc, and hemoglobin in that level, stick with it.

as a side note, ive also found that my food cravings and animalistic hunger is worse since lowering the dose. It's like when your dialed in...ALL the "appetites" flourish. That's how i felt at 18, so i figure that's what i should go with.

Leading TRT Physicians like Crisler, Shippen and Gordon are now starting men out on 60 to 80mg of Testosterone (injected) weekly and are seeing great results.
I think what we're all learning in this game is that less is more across the board including AI dosages and possibly even HCG .

As many of us try to preach more is not better. If less makes you feel better and everything works better than that's great. Everyone's sweet spot is different. Sometimes we have to be smarter than our doctors.

I saw an excerpt from shippens book and he said he only likes trand dermals. Crisler also said cyp "acts like old man testosterone " whatever the hell that means.
I agree less may be more. My natty level of test was 500-600 and an yeilded a 16 free level(high is 26) My 150MG gave me a 1300ng level, with a <50 free test. I had another test done when i was letting some stuff taper out, total was 200 but yeilded still a <50 free test. Im on 100mgs/wk now, will retest soon. Maybe i have a low SHBG level or something but that would make no sense considering i was on 400mg for 10months strait with other compounds switching in and out(i know i know lol) which should have my shbg SKY high. But perhaps because they were DHT derived it freed it up, maybe that stuff is still trickeling out. IDK, we'll see
point being, maybe the injected stuff for whatever reason has less afinity for SHBG. My bodyfat is real low though too like 6% so that may have something to do with it.
