    Scheduling 6 wk BW

Next week will be my 6 week mark. My current protocol is 250 hCGmg Friday & Saturday and 100mg Test C on Sunday. What would be the ideal day to get my BW done?

I plan on getting the following BW done from a local Private MD Labs facility:

Description: The Hormone Panel for Males contains the following tests:
    - Lipid Profile
    -Complete Blood Count w/ Differential
    -Estradiol, Sensitive
    -Insulin Growth Factor (IGF-1)
    -Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
-Testosterone (Free) , Serum (Equilibrium Ultrafiltration) With Total Testosterone
    -Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)
    -Thyroid Profile

    The details are here: http://tinyurl.com/9wxwo8x

Are there any other tests that I should get done at 6 weeks? I am paying out of pocket, so I have to watch the spending but want to get proper tests.

the same day before your next test injection, the day before is fine too.

for follow up blood work I'd suggest this (copied from Kel's thread Finding a Physician)

    • Total Testosterone
    • Bioavailable Testosterone
    • Free Testosterone (if Bioavailable T is still unavailable)
    • Estradiol (specify “sensitive” assay for males)
    • LH
    • FSH
    • CBC
    • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
    • Lipid Profile
    • PSA (for those over 40 with Family Hx of prostate CA, >45 yo. all others)
    • IGF-1, IGFBP-3 (if GH Therapy has been initiated already)

I don't believe they are open on the weekend. So if it had to be a day during the week with the current pin dates, what would be best? I'm assuming Thursday where my test would be at its lowest half life?

Id go the latest you can before your next shot. if that means it has to be Friday then that's fine. And I would not take my HCG shot because I would want to know what the Testosterone has my blood level at most importantly.

I'm thinking of scheduling my BW on Friday morning and waiting until I get home to pin the hCG .

Friday is actually a better day; you want to see where your levels are "where you live"...in other words where your serum levels are at mid point in your weekly cycle.

I always thought testing the day before where serum levels are lowest before and before the next injection doesn't provide a clear picture of where a man really stands whereas mid point in the cycle would provide a more accurate assessment IMO.

For me personally, I'd like to know where I am when it peaks. If taking a shot on Sunday evening, that might put it around Wednesday AM for the peak. That to me will tell you just how effective the cypionate is on the serum levels. Just my .02

Also, on HCG ... This would take a little work, but it's good to know just how effective it also is on your serum level. If you ran one set of labs at peak value with cyp and HCG, then take a few weeks off of HCG, and run a serum lab at the same time, you will then know just what the HCG is or isn't doing for you. IMO, it makes it a lot more easier to adjust your protocol with a better understanding on how your body will respond to it.

This may sound odd but the only reason why I'm taking hCG is to prevent my boys from going away. I do hear what you're saying though and may run with that in another 6 weeks.

Definitely, it's to help keep them from shrinking. However, in the process of that, it activates them to produce endogenous testosterone . In my case, I cut my weekly cypionate dosage down from 200mg/wk to 120/wk and achieved approx. the same serum results due to adding HCG . So, it's just good to know how effective it is for you.
