Conversion question
Just got my Testosterone lab back. It is in a different format than I usually get. It is as follows: 6.04 (2.1 - 8.0) ng/mL. To convert this to the more normal pg/mL do I just move the decimal to the right two places giving me 604.0 (210.0 - 800.0) pg/mL? Either way this doesn't put me much above 60% of range and I think, based on symptoms, that I need a higher dose. Any thoughts? Currently taking 120 mgs/every 3.5 days.
Also, anyone change from every 3.5 days to EOD and notice positive results? Thanks.

Regardless of the format you are still in the approx. 60% range. Due to the actual half life (I'm assuming test E or C) I don't think EOD will make a difference.
You say based on symptoms, that you have not posted as well as the rest of the blood work results or your complete treatment protocol.
What is your E2 this can cause many symptoms wether high or low.
A bit more info will help straighten out you symptoms etc.
Posting a complete blood panel would be great.

Unfortunately my doc did not order E2. He was supposed but it didn't get ordered. I am getting new tests in ~2 weeks and will make sure he gets the E2, SHBG, total T and free T this time. Symptom that is most bothersome is still a lack of motivation/energy. Libido is better but could use some more imrovement as well. Still having a hard time losing weight whereas several years ago it was not a problem. I am also taking 60 mgs of armour thyroid for my hypothyroidism. Last bloodwork on that only included TSH and T4. TSH was .57 (0.34 - 4.82) uIU/ML and T4 was 0.67 (0.60 - 1.35) ng/dL which seems low to me. He doesn't want to do RT3 because he thinks it will be to much info overload (I know, crazy isn't it).
My thoughts are getting T into the upper 80%+ range and see how that feels. Also need to convince him about RT3 and why it is important to know that particular value. It sure is hard work training these doctors...

Doctors are a pain, remember they work for you and we as consumers need to be proactive in letting them know this and demand a higher level of care and not this drive thru patient mill most doctors are running. Post when you get the blood and the estrogen is very important to your overall wellbeing.
