Cholesterol
I have a cholesterol query.
I just had my cholesterol tested and everything came out normal, except LDL (which was ten percent higher than the upper end of the normal range). How big an issue is this? I am not juicing and have not for a while. I am surprised that the number came out higher than the high end of normal (first time ever). I rarely eat unhealthy stuff and have a fairly well controlled diet. Am 36 years old and otherwise in ok health (have a libido issue which I cannot seem to resolve despite use of PT-141 but that's another story).
Due to the libido issue, I would like to use test in TRT dosages in conjunction with HCG and Arimidex for a few months and see if there is an improvement but the LDL level is a bummer and do not know how to deal with this. Should I be overly concerned if the LDL is 10 percent higher than normal (3.3 mmol/Litre as opposed to 3.0 mmol/Litre)?
Also, should I take some statins to get them down? I know all this requires a doctor's prescription but in the European country that I live in, doctors are notorious for their "faith" in the "natural healing powers of the body." Its a real bummer (don't live in the UK any more).

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure your ratio is good and that's what matters. Why don't you post your bw with ranges so we can calculate it for you, or simply find a calculator online and do it yourself.

If your cholesterol is high and you jump on testosterone , if you use an AI this could very well make your cholesterol worse. Testosterone itself can have a negative impact on cholesterol, however, normally not horribly and rarely at a TRT dose. However, AI's can have a negative impact as well, and when the two are joined together this can make things worse. All that said, your cholesterol doesn't sound like it's at a horrific state by any means, but I tend to try to keep my cholesterol at a healthy range no matter what...makes me feel better about things.

cholesterol issues is more genetic
also, there are other factors that indicate/predict heart disease
take it from a 43 year old heart attack patient
find a good heart doctor or 2 or 3...
my cholesterol numbers have always been great...i knew several years ago that my lipoprotein-a was high which is a genetic trait
yes cholesterol numbers good on trt for 7 years as well
if trt is needed it isnt an option, imo..its a separate health issue
good luck
research and have other heart disease indicators checked such as lipoprotein-a AND c-reactive protein
