Conversation with a 62 year old juicer
Personal experiences are far better then any scientific study i take theses anyday.
I would like to share this with you guys and also get some feedback on comments on what you think about everything.
I met this man in the waiting room before my prolotherapy treatment the guy that treats me introduced him to me and spoke about steroids right away.
THis is where everything got interesting, remember last year i did a cycle with very small dosage test E deca and masterone at 200mg each per week, i admit not having an AI being given very bad avise by the idiot that sold me the steroids and more but i still manage to gain a lot of mass. In 20 weeks i went from 217 to nearly 261 pounds, that is a 44 pounds increase in weight, of course fat and water where in there but i was still pertty big at 5 foot 10.
Now for the good stuff. He has been using steroids about twice a year for 30 years, he told me he started in is early 30.
Back in the days like he said they did not beleive in dosage like most people take for there cycles, the 400-600mg of testosterone and the 400mg of deca. 12 week cycle and then PCT.
He told me that its harder to come back when the dosage are that high and even worst keeping some gains after even if proper PCT is done.
He admited not doing PCT after each cycle. He is a big fan of dianabol to kick start a cycle 20mg per day for 3-4 weeks, he never took more then 200mg of deca and testosterone per week in all is cycles.
He said that at the end he lost a bit of what he gained but still kept some and it improved is training for the rest of the year.
The only supplement he took ws back in the 80 man this brings me back milk and egg protein, but even then he stop taking it because he is more a whole food kind of guy, meat eater hell yeah gotta have meat, whole eggs, no white eggs (i never beleive in eating white eggs eater) and he eat 4 times per day he said that eating 6 times per day is a good way for supplement companies to make money.
All in all this was a very enjoyable conversation, the guy is built, he is getting treatment for a shoulder pain. He said taht in recent years he stop going all out, he still lift heavy but not to the point of failure, also stop doing squats at some point because of back pain and he never deadlifts.
I have my cycle planned i will start in October being back in the gym i have all the motivation in the world i got some EQ that i will be running at 300mg per week dbol to start the whole thing and testo E at 200mg per week. I am doing a 12 week. I also got my HCG on hand and armidex.
What do you guys think?

Interesting story Yannick. Glad to see he's done ok all these years without really taking any precautionary measures whatsoever. Hell, safety measures such as people use today as well as available information were not around back then.

agreed
The problem that made me realize is that can we thrust the information given today? the more is better is always there but the body does have its limit.
Back then has you say they did not have all the supplements we have today, they ate whole food, and they look good too. Yeah they did the steroids but nothing major.
Today we got BCAA, glutamine, whey, about a million brand of creatine multi vitamins and are told to eat 6 times per day or you wont get your full potential.
I did the 6 times per day eating and it was a pain, real pain to preprare meals like that, so i had to turn to milk shakes and bars. At one point i was close to 250g of protein per day, it did make a difference, but i got the same results has when i am eating 120-150g per day.
Same has cutting carbs he said its ridiculous, he is semi retired and he still trains the young guys in the gym ,lets just say they are lucky to have him.
Each time i low carbed i felt like total crap, low energy, no pumps, recuperation after a workout was very long, lactic acid and more. Problem is everything we talked about i expericed at one point or another, so i cannot argue with the guy on many points.
Yeah i take glutamine MSM, creatine, BCAA, whey protein shake to reach my daily need but to be honest do i really need that, eating whole eggs and meat, veggies, fruits, and whole bread would cover much of my needs.
He drinks a 1 litre of milk after is workout that is, is post workout meal, he said that to lose weight its all about eating less, not what you eat, sure eating protein and good carbs and fats is they way to go, not like that stupid twinky diet that i saw once on the internet a guy lose 40 pounds eating twinkis all day 1400 cals of them.
I feel that the old dogs have so much to show us, hey i am 40 years old getting up there but i am ready to set things aside and learn.

I am using it at 2IU per day 5/2 and will be using it true out my cycle.
I have been reading about theses supplements and gray hair i am 40 and people think i am like 46-47 this is very insulting. I am also tired of dying my hair.
Lets just see how it looks in 6 months of taking arginine, GH, and MSM, i also have to take collagen pills has part of my rehab from prolotherapy.
I am slowly retinking my diet too. And added melatonin 3g per night this stuff is dirt cheap for 100 pills.
Lets just say that after starting training i got all the movtivation in the world, its time to get back at it.Last edited by yannick35; 09-24-2012 at 05:50 PM.
