I am an 18 year old male whose T levels are 132 ng/dl PLEASE HELP !
I got my blood checked by my primary care doctor and my total T levels came as 132 ng/dl, he said that he doesn't know anything about hormones and I should see an endo. I asked him to check for my cortisol, estrogen and free test levels as well to see if it could be something else causing my low T or if it was a testing mistake . (I have some Vitamin d insufficiency, idk how much that lowered my T). But I do workout, I am no fanatic but I hit the gym at least twice a week. ( I did fap an hour and a half before I got my blood checked and it was taken in the evening ). Anyways should I order some more tests before I see my endo, what tests are the best? How bad is 132 for someone by age exactly? What can I do, what therapies or hormones should I request when I see my endo, for someone who is 18.
Some more things you should know- I have a male physique, I have some fat stores in my thighs and love handles, but besides that everything is fine. My libido isn't bad I fap regularly, but it does fluctuate rapidly sometimes and for the past few months I have been getting plenty of sleep. Lastly, I do have some light anxiety, but it isn't anything crazy
I am desperate for answers, I don't want my life ruined.

Don't think of any kind of hormone therapy at this point. Read the stickies in this section especially the Finding a Physician thread. You need a complete male hormone panel done, then post ALL your results here in this thread, them we can help point you to the right direction. Again do not think about any kind of hormone therapy.

What the wise one said above...seriously.
At your age and that serum level could point to serious pathology like testicular tumor, thyroid tumor, pituitary tumor, cancer, testicular varicocle, diabetes...the list goes on.
If this lab was not flawed (and that does happen) you need to find a Physician that knows how to diagnose you correctly.
Not trying to scare you only want the best for you my friend.

Agree with both comments above. Get with a physician who will also run your LH & FSH labs to help determine where this is stemming from.
Keep us posted ...

Mate
Why all the duplicate threads? Here is what I told you previously.....
Mate,
before you get yourself all in a panic, stop and think! You have told us you do not exhibit the symptoms typically associated with low T.
so before you start thinking of going down this path you and others are thinking, read this and consider:
1. Do you have a decrease in libido (sex drive)?
2. Do you have a lack of energy?
3. Do you have a decrease in strength and/or endurance?
4. Have you lost height?
5. Have you noticed a decreased "enjoyment of life"?
6. Are you sad and/or grumpy?
7. Are your erections less strong?
8. Have you noticed a deterioration in your ability to play sports?
9. Are you falling asleep after dinner?
10. Has there been a recent deterioration in your work performance?
If you answer yes to question one or seven, or at least three of the other questions you may have symptoms associated with low testosterone levels .
Bottom line, is don't get yourself all riled up simply because of a test result. Focus on the symptoms, not the number.
