Acne on your TRT dose

Before I decided to commit to trt I ran a test cycle for 16 weeks along with some other compounds in order to get back in shape a little faster. Non the less I went from high 20's bf and I am down to about 16%.Was 14-15 but Hurricane Sandy recked havoic on my diet this week. I have been on my trt dose for almost 3 months now. I had bloods done about a 6 weeks ago but they forgot to add estrogren but my test levels looked great. Everything looked good except my good cholestrol was a little out of wack but I assumed it was from the aas use in the past 6 months. Something obviously I want to keep monitored.

I am running an ai and I bumped it up last week and noticed the acne started to go away big time but man it came back with a vengence this week. I am running about 100mg every 5 days. The acne is almost as bad if not worse then when I was blasting 600mg of test a week.


Just curious does anyone else have acne issues on trt?

Hey rwy! I never experienced acne from my TRT dose. I typically only see acne at or above 500mg per week. What was the reason for bumping the AI dose?

I was thinking maybe my estrogen is up causing the acne? Is that the wrong way to think about it?

On any dose I get acne. But I had back acne back when my testosterone was healthy anyways. Nothing on my face, but lately shoulders have been covered pretty good. I thought there was a correlation with it e2 levels but now I dunno. because I have had e2 scores pretty decent but still had the acne, and I have also used smaller test dose and had it. I honestly don't mind it that much as long as it's not on my face. Some people look at it funny and I have had kids at the pool ask me what it was. but of course they were like 6 years old, nothing for me to worry about. I scrub it pretty hard in the shower to help keep it under control. Sometimes it's worse than others though.
