TRT and Past Testicular Cancer
I have been doing some research on TRT and am scheduled an appt with my dr to get some bloodwork done for test levels and was wondering if anyone knew if there are issues or implications of doing TRT if I had Testicular Cancer (Seminoma) in the past. It was 1997 when I had surgery and radiation and there have been no signs since. I haven't been screened for some time as I was given the all clear after 5 or 6 years...I just want to make sure there are no issues. I am 45 now and am done having any more kids.... Thanks

You shouldn't have a problem; in fact, you are now Primary Hypogonadal and TRT would do you well.
I don't believe that Seminoma is a hormonal malignancy, and with 6 years of no recurrence, you should be fine.
