cypionate Injections and wanting to add DAA?

I am in my late 40's and taking cypionate injections 200mg every 2 weeks for NO libido, mild depression, and no drive. Test. numbers are now in the 600's. This fixed the libido problem 100%.
However, I am still having ED issues with the second half of the 2 week period.

Was wondering if I could add DAA to this?

If I do what's the best way to cycle this.

I am not currently lifting and don't plan on it. This test. treatment was to fix my NO sex drive and
depresseion etc. which it did, but I was thinking if I could bump the numbers up just a little more
It would help even more. Not looking for muscles, looking to help libido, depression and low motivation.
with my current treatment it's like I am 70% there...

My Doc is happy with the 600 number and won't up the shots anymore.

So, would DAA help, and if so, what's the best way to take it along with my injections?

    thanks.

Your testosterone is simply peaking 3-4 days after injection.... I would split the dose into weekly injections of 100mg. even better though, I would inject 50mg E3D. the more frequent the injection, the less of a swing you will feel. and you aren't taking any more Test that way than you are now, just more effectively using it...

Will your doc let you take more frequent, smaller injections? Like maybe 100mg/week? With the two week interval, your test is bottoming out halfway through the 2nd week, hence your ED in the end of 2nd week. Would he go for that? If not, you may want to look into a different doc. And would he consider HCG ? If you haven't, DEFINITELY read the Sticky on HCG.

Are your test numbers in the 600s just before the next shot? If so, that's probably indicating you're on a dose that's too high.

I would ask to switch to 100mg once per week and then see what your levels look like.

Also, I wouldn't take DAA. It really doesnt have much research behind it and there is some mention of possible toxicity from it.... I don't know the details on it but I think it has something to do with the fact that the testes hold onto the DAA and if you kept taking it the levels might get too high.

Have you been checking your estradiol (sensitive test)? That's important and has a profound impact on sexual health.

Thanks for the responses. I have asked my doc to go on weekly shots and she says no. She really doesn't want to change anything, mainly because I originally went to a endo to get all this stabalized and setup. Once done, she was ok with handeling it from there. Plus I am on a lot of other medications and we have things very stable right now. I really can't complain a whole lot, life is FAR better than before the shots.

I have recently added the DAA, I am on day 4, I am also taking horny goat weed (day5) and added Omega 3 (day 20). One of these has really kicked in since yesterday, I am not near as drained, I have a lot more energy in the evening and I am just more mentally alert. My wife picked up on it yesterday also, I was more talkative and involved.

Anyway, thanks for the input, I will ask the doc again if she will let me do 100mg weekly.

So I guess the DAA will not help me much? guess I should stop it.

DAA research and effectiveness was on low T young adults. With T injections you are shutdown and that pathway won't benefit from DAA.

Like others suggested, smaller, more frequent injections. I went to EOD and am loving it. I can't ever see going back to 2x/week like I was doing. YOu are doing every other week? Madness! Buy your own needles if you have to and break up your prescribed about to at least 2x/week.

Agree with everything above. Your doc and endo DO NOT understand the half-life of testosterone . It's sad, actually, but most doc's really don't understand hormones as it's just not part of med school. If you're self-injecting I strongly encourage you to do as stated above, weekly injections. It will keep you serum levels more stable and you will definitly feel the difference. You also need HCG as part of your protocol which will mimic LH production and keep your testies somewhat functioning.

Please take some time and read the stickies at the top of the forum. A wealth of info awaits you there.

    Welcome to the forum!

Thank you all for the help, I really appreciate your time. I will definitely ask to go on 100mg weekly. If not then break it up myself and see.

With my numbers only being in the 600's, wouldn't that, put me down to the 300's? or is my thinking wrong here. Excuse me if it is, I am VERY new to this and have not done a lot of research. After starting my injections, my libido problems was solved, so I was happy and never looked back or looked into thus further. Until, I saw what was happening and figured out myself that my test was up and down. Oddly, my libido isn't, it stays fairly stable throughout the entire 2 weeks. My ED issue is the big problem and motivation\drive. The first week is just better then the second.

With my numbers being only in the 600's do I really need to worry about anything else? I have been on these shots for almost a year now. With no side effects at all, that I can tell. I don't cycle as I see everyone else doing.

Also looking at Cialis for the ED issue, got a script for that too, doc had no problem giving me that one

    Thanks again for your time.

It would just keep you from having such a low dip in your test level. It won't put you at 300. You will be getting the same amount of exogenous test, but you'll be optimizing that amount by working with its half life.

^^Exactly what TT said. Cialis is a great addition to your protocol regardless of ED issues. It has many benefits and is just plain healthy. It's a nitric oxide booster and is approved by the FDA for BPH. If your doc will write you for 5mg twice per day it would be awesome. Dose at noon and bedtime! Read this:

Now do your research on HCG as odds are that in time your boys will be shrinking. Read that sticky!

    OP,

Kel had asked if you are self injecting. If you are doing your own shots, I would split the dose to 100mg and inject once a week. I had the same issue with my doc when I started and went the weekly injections and it did wonders for me. Many guys are injecting 100mg/weekly and their numbers are in the upper 1/3 of the range. I think once you get your levels stabilized your libido will improve.
    Best O luck

Agree with everything above about injecting once a week.

Added bonus: I have noticed that my E2 doesn't slowly climb when I inject lower doses more frequently. When I went to twice a week injections my E2 dropped and stayed low.
