HRT and Keratosis Pilaris
For those of you who don't know the term "Keratosis Pilaris", it is little pimple-like bumps some people get on the outside arms and legs. Harmless but ugly. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keratosis_pilaris.
I haven't had it since my early 20s, and I am 42 years now. It has come back on my upper arms and biceps since I started HRT, which was just over 3 months ago. I don't think it is a coincidence. My feeling is my testosterone was probably at its max from 15-25 years, which is when I had KP. Now I am bumping up my T again, and the KP is back. Luckily I don't have it bad, but I kind of forgot about it until it raised its ugly little bumpy head again.Last edited by junk2222yard; 11-10-2012 at 11:11 AM. Reason: typos
