Should I take my T3 before Test/E2 blood tests?

My Endo has prescribed me 5mcg Liothyronine (T3) 2x a day. Once when I wake up and the second 4 hours after. I do not have Hypothyroidism but she wants to stabilize my thyroid before treating me with stronger hormones.

I saw my General Physician and he said that the T3 could mess up my blood work. On a side note he thinks I should stop taking it altogether, but I honestly don't trust him as he is a Kaiser Dr. and will not give me a referral to a Kaiser Endo. My Endo I've been seeing is a private Dr.

So I'm wondering when I take my Total T/ E2 tests should I be on the T3 or should I not take it?

On a side note.....Kaiser Physicians won't give me blood work, so I'm thinking of checking into the emergency room there and trying to get them done there. My Private endo wants to go through Quest, but I honestly cannot afford the money for the tests. I want to tell them I feel like s*** and suspect it's my hormones because I was taking an Anti-Androgen for hairloss (I know I know.....biggest mistake of my life). I'm hoping that will work.

Any thoughts on the matter would be very appreciated, thanks.

I keep seeing these Kaiser docs and insurance mentioned. I've never heard of it, but it seems a lot of guys on here have it or deal with it. Just curious, what is Kaiser?? Why is it so shitty?

And I would personally not take the T3 before blood test just bc I would want the rawest readings I could get. But I'm no expert obviously

Kaiser is one of the bigger Medical facilities here on the westcoast, not sure about the rest of the nation. But they are famous for getting money from businesses for medical insurance and HMO's.

They are extremely difficult to deal with and get referrals to see specialists. I grew breast tissue while taking an anti-androgen for hair loss, and although they did do a mammogram, my General Physician would still not give me a referral to an Endo or give me any Hormone test.

They have a protocol not to overrule another Kaiser Doctors decisions, so if you seek a 2nd opinion there from another Dr., they are required to agree with the original one's opinion. It's pretty disgusting.

And yes I agree that I shouldn't take it, I was just trying to get a few opinions. I'm obviously new here and really don't know a whole lot about Hormones and the specifics with everything.
