I feel better with "elevated" estrogen levels

I have heard time and time again that estrogen should be kept in the 20-30 pg/nl range but I have also heard that you divide total test by 20 and thats better. I feel better when estrogen is higher. My last labs were Test 800 and estrogen was 49 and feel good that way. When I take an AI and it goes down I feel like crap. Anyone similar?

Good call. Different labs have different ranges. Also, the ranges are guildes. While physicians will want to see results withint these ranges, out of range values aren't necessary a major concern unless it is really high. For example, elevated LFTs (ALT, AST) are concerns but its not until these values exceed 3x ULN that the serious conditions occur (obviously we would never want LFTs in these ranges or anywhere close).

Interesting. It is all based on how you feel to a point. Have you considered that when you take your AI to lower your E your also raising your T and that the extra T could actually be the cause of your feeling crappy? People respond differently.

I am still amazed that Johns Hopkins endocrinologists are claiming that there is no such thing as an established range for male E2 levels. However, that does make me ask where we are getting this 20-40 is optimal range in the first place? Anyone know the evidence or origination of this range? Not saying I disagree, but I just want to be a well-informed dude.

I can believe it as well; as long as the lab was correct as bass noted.

It's all about how you feel and we're all different so good for you man.

Also, Shippen was telling me that we have different Androgen Receptivity, where one guy is less sensitive to testosterone and may need more than another guy. Maybe the same is applied to estrogen. Maybe the OP is insensitive to Estrogen and needs a little more?

Pssst.....I got that beat. I've had test at 3500 and E2 at 295!!!! Mostly asymptomatic for E2 at that level except for chronic fatigue. Damn near shit myself when my labs came back.

I should have had a menstrual cycle at that level!!!!!!!!!

For me it isn't the lower e2 it's the anastrozole itself that makes me feel like crap. At least for now it's my conclusion.

I am the exact same way. Optimal E2 is 50 for me. Last BW I had back in august, it was 15. I crashed my E2,made me feel like t total shat!. Im still recovering and have no libido 4 months later.I have been taking 500mg of test E a week trying to get it back up and still have zero sides of high E. Huge lessoned learned for me and It sounds like you are a slow converter as well. Word of caution do not take to much Anastrozole. I was taking .25mg EOD Dr cut my test dosage back in half and didnt cut AI and the rest is history.I took my last AI sept 14. I get BW today. Real curiousl to see results.

Would there be a correlation in the ratio of T:E?? Dreadnok's ratio is 5:1 which is much worse than Ink's 10:1 T:E ratio. I wonder if there is a common optimal level like a 20:1 ratio that someone stated above?

I believe it is about ratio, but can't say what the optimal is since I never paid attention to the ratio aspect of it. You might feel okay or good with elevated levels be keeping them elevated for long periods may cause other sides, like HBP, high cholesterol, elevated liver enzymes, etc... I'm talking about elevated beyond the normal range.

My libido and erections are like porn star quality right days before my boobs grow... I guess that means part of my body definitely likes higher E2.

But, it's not good to have too low E2, which very well could be many people's problem.

I haven't spent enough time in that range, but if I had to guess, I would say that my ideal E2 level is in the upper quartile of the E2 range, but definitely not over range.

The highest I have ever been on BW is 82 and I will take that problem any day over being a 15. Lot easier to bring it down than up. Even though I was very irritable and fatigued only took about 2 weeks to bring it down.

I just did BW on friday and get he results tmrw I am real curious to see how much its increased from a level of 15 back in august. I increased my test to 500mg a week trying to get it back up. I just started a test/tren cycle and am hoping that it will be beneficial to start with my E2 very low.

I feel much better with elevated estrogen. My wife loves it because I get so easy going. Unfortunately, my BP spikes so I keep my E2 from getting up there now.

Absolutely true. Extremely elevated estrogen significantly raises the risk for DVTs, strokes, and MIs.

Like I said, I was under dosing relative to my high gear levels and the E2 took off like a damn runaway freight train. Thank god I did my routine blood work and caught it when I did!!!!!!

True. It only happens when I run higher doses of Test. The rest of the time I stay nice and low.
