Blood work after 5 weeks of TRT

So here's my results after 5 weeks on TRT. Keep in mind I'm a 36 year old very active and really into lifting. Symptoms of Low T started in March. Sorry if I mess this up new member here.
    Result Ref Range
    LH <0.2 1.5-9.3
    Estradiol 38 <or=39
    Dihydrotestostrone 44 16-79
    Total Test 543 250-1100
    Free T 121.7 35-155
    TSH 2.62 .4-4.5
    T3 Free 3.3 2.3-4.2
    DHEA 178 100-370
    T4 Free 1.3 .8-1.8

So here are my lastest results everything has come up on my Test side, but I"m still having brain fog and and sometime feel like I just want to crawl in a hole and hide. I have zero energy and am tired all the time. I don't even workout anymore. I also get lightheaded sometimes which is crazy. I used to me an absolute animal in the gym and used to use ROIDS a lot. The thing is I never did PCT and this is what has caused all my problems.
I"m done doing the sauce and just want to feel normal and be active again. Thank god that after 3 tries I found a doctor that would treat me. Oh and I am currently doing 100mg of Test Cyp once a week.

    Thanks for all the help

    Jake

I don't see anything in your blood work that would point to your symptoms.

    Thyroid is fine.

E2 my be slightly elevated as some would suggest high 20's is more ideal...but it's not that elevated to really be of concern for now that is.

Try supplementing 50 mg of micronized DHEA and 50 mg of Pregnenolone each morning.

    Did you get these tested:

    Cortisol
    SHBG

Something else is off and you need more labs to make a better assessment.

He didn't run those tests. I currently take 25mg of DHEA, and 50 MGs of Preg. I was taking them at night but after reading some things on here I took them both this morning. I meet with him Weds, and this has just sucked the life out of me. The "brainfog" is constent and I just don't know what the heck is causing it along with headaches. I"ll ask him about the Cortisol and SHBG and see what he says. Something has to change soon.

Your numbers are ok. They could be a little better, but is that likely to revolutionize life as you know? My best guess is no.

What does your diet look like on any given day? Has this changed much over the last year or so?

Finally, are these all the labs you have? Id like to see b12, D, ferritin+iron.... these are important and easily fixed.

    Vit D is 29. Range 30-100
Ferritin and iron wasn't tested. My diet has been the same for pretty much the last 5 years or so although I don't drink hardly ever anymore

Try increasing your DHEA supplements from 25mg to 50mg.

DHEA-S is best at the very top of the reference range and some men complain of anxiety and other issues when this serum level is low.

^^^^Yep, increase DHEA to 50mg or even 75mg and see how you feel.

Are you taking a micronized pill?

Very important as non-micronized will absorb very very poorly.

Would love to see a Cortisol panel on you...

Dr Crisler really raves about the benefits of pregnenolone for men with anxiety.

I believe he prefers specifically oral pregnenolone for anxiety.

It's very cheap and worth a shot.

Is your diet nutritious? Free of modern processed foods?

Also, id recommend a b12, folate, iron and ferritin workup. If you aren't already taking vitamin D, I would supplement with 5,000 IU daily with food until its around 60-70 then keep it around there using blood work.

These are some wise words Id also like to share with you from Dr Mariano:
"One of the important pieces of advice in Anti-Aging medicine is to try and fix nutrition first before attempting to adjust hormones. The biggest reason from my point of view is that if cellular metabolism is impaired, hormone signaling is going to be impaired - the cells can't listen to the hormone and act upon listening to the signal. The DHEA I'm taking is from the vitamin shop I have no idea if its micronized or not (not sure how to tell) also do I take it all at one time? It would be three pills to get to 75mgs

Ideally, you would want to split it up.

Be sure to take it with a meal as fats will help the absorption.

So I saw the doc today and he's increasing my test from 100mgs a week to 150mgs a week. Then he's going to run some more labs in 6 weeks to see where I'm at.
