    Zinc question

Ok so my E is sitting at 38 the high range for the BW scale is <39. My doc didn't give me anything as an anti E. I was wondering if I should add zinc to my list of supps? Would you consider that as high and how much zinc if any should I add?
    Thanks

It probably wont hurt to take some extra zinc.

If you are very sensitive to aromatization and e2 then you will be better served by lower the weekly T dose and doing more frequent, smaller injections.

If you take copper, be sure to get extra copper too, 25:1 ratio zinc:copper is what Dr Mark Gordon recommends I believe.

    All men should take zinc.

However, I think you may want to add in some calcium d-glucarate as well.

    Here's a good read: http://www.livestrong.com/article/35...-testosterone/

What would you suggest is a safe amount of calcium d-glucarate to take per day while on trt?

doesn't zinc increase RBC? I'm asking because for those on TRT need to pay attention if that's the case.

    50 to 100 mg daily.

It's good stuff and has a ton of other great health benefits...do some research on it.

Women who are prone to breast cancer should take it faithfully every day as well.

I just bought 200/mg pill from life extension. I hope that's not too much. That seemed to be the smallest amount

It's fine...you could always schedule an EOD dosing schedule as well or cut the pill in half.

Great link! I'm going to pick some of that up for sure. How many of you take L-Arginine? My doc said I should be taking 3000mgs a day

    Id ask him why really.

There are a lot of theories out there as to what people should or shouldn't take. A lot of it boils down to who you believe because often there are 2 sides to every recommendation. And then some favor drugs or supplements or nutrition, etc etc etc.

L-Arginine act a vasio dilator and does a lot of good things besides allowing blood flow to reach places that over time close up as we age.

In fact, it's why some forward thinking Docs use PDE5i's like Cialis for the same reason...and not for ED.

As we age, blood has a hard time finding and reaching placed it did in youth, so any amino acid stack or PDE5i that can help get oxygen and nutrients into places it didn't in the past is a really good thing and better for overall health.

here is a 5-year study of 80 mg of Zn given daily. There was no change in hemocrit levels, and no negative effect on HDL levels. It takes very high levels of Zn for those negative results.
