Sub Q injections- taking the plunge- 2 questions

I have read up, watched the videos, lurked here and based on this decided to switch to Sub Q injections 2x/ week (currently 100mg IM 1x/ week test c.) in hopes of lowering sides. I have 2 questions that I'd like to ask:
    - I'm looking at insulin syringes from one of our site sponsors- 29ga 1/2" and either .5ml or 1ml. I really couldnt find the 26Ga that were recommended in the video and was wondering if any of you use a pin this small- Regularly- for your sub Q injections? Concerned about the pressure- similar to the powerwashing example on the video to the area I pin. Should I get the 1/2 or 1ml? Which leads to my 2nd question
    - Currently pinning .5ml (100mg)/ week IM. Should I just start w/ 1/2 that amount split btwn Mon AM and Thurs PM Sub Q? Or try a little less per pin? The 100mg/ wk IM is giving me good BW, results, etc. other than the nipple issue. If so, then Im assuming the 1/2 ml syringes would be fine?

Those are the exact needles that I use. (the .5ml ones.) I've used them 3x per week to inject .40mg of Test-Cyp 3 x per week, and I've never had a problem. I've also never had a bump or a bruise from them. *knocks on wood.*

It takes a few minutes to load, and about 10-15 seconds to SLOWLY inject. I tried the 1 ml ones, and they took far too long to load, and to inject.

    Hopefully this helps.

    Best of luck.

I regularly use a 31 ga 5/16 for SQ test shots. No issues whatsoever. Also just picked up 27ga 1/2" for variety as well. I don't care what gauge you use if you push to hard/fast there can be excess pressure. Push slow, don't rush. I prefer 1/2 ml. Just split the dose and do what you've learned here. It really should help with your E2. If you can't find pins your looking for at the site sponsor pm me for some options.

Perfect! I was wondering about loading and pinning w/ the same needle. I use an 18ga? I think to draw up and a 23ga 1" to pin the IM now.
Can these 29ga 1/2 ml syringes be used for HGC should my Dr. and I come to an agreement on this?

I'm not sure about HGC as I don't use any.
