looking for help on what im taking, test, hcg, cytomel
hello, i am new and was told that i might get good advice on this thread,
i am 35 years old, 5 foot 7 and 280 pounds. i was 305 but was on hgh for a bit ( off shore black market ) and lost a few pounds. i went to a doctor and he started me on 100 mg per week testosterone . i have been doin it for 3 weeks and he uped it to 200mg (100mg twice a week) and also gave me cytomel 25mg per day. i will be starting the hcg diet tomorrow. 500 cal per day thing.
i was curios if this was a good combo? wasnt really tested yet except for normal blood work. does this sound right? or should i up my test? any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

i agree with slimmer, where is your bloodwork?
why did your doc prescribe you test @ 200mg/week and is your thyroid not functioning correctly?
500 cals???? get in the nutrition section ASAP!

Definitely get your bloodwork posted ASAP. The group will want to see Testosterone , Free T, Estrogen, and many other readings to see what your issue is. the stickies above will give you an example of the readings you should get.
200 mg per week is high but without BW it's hard to say where you should be at.
It all starts in the kitchen with results! 500 cals is going to do more harm than good. The nutrition section will point you in the right direction.
List the vitamins that you currently take as well. There are many that take 5000 iu of vitamin d per day since many are deficient.

Rob.....looking for you in the Nutrition section.
I promise if you give it a chance and put off the Hcg shots ( I am assuming shots and not pills!) you will see a completely different body composition. With the hcg plan you will lose so much muscle. If you come to the Nutrition section and learn to eat correctly or even learn to eat much better, you will lose BF and retain and build muscle at the same time. Plus enjoy eating much more than 500 calories!Life is too short, so kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly.Author Unknown

rob i agree with above posts.
looks like ur on TRT but u have not had any blood work to establish that u need it? is this correct?
also u say ur doc increased ur test dose from 100mg to 200mg??? based on what??
500cals per day is gonna kill ur metabolism and not a good plan at all!
get blood work: free test, total test, E2 (Estradiol - sensitive assay for males) at a minimum! chek out this sticky for necessary blood work:
http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...n#.ULZXUYfedP8
this is what u need for initial blood work:
• Total Testosterone
• Bioavailable Testosterone (AKA “Free and Loosely Bound”)
• Free Testosterone (if Bioavailable T is unavailable)
• SHBG
• DHT (perhaps) *Gel user especially pay attention to this.
• Estradiol (specify “sensitive” assay for males)
• LH
• FSH
• Prolactin
• Cortisol
• Thyroid Panel
• CBC
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
• Lipid Profile
• PSA (age dependent)
• IGF -1, IGFBP-3 (if HGH therapy is being considered)
Vitamin D
also start a thread in the nutrition section so we can get ur diet going. forget HCG diet!

OK , im back,, took me a while to find my post. Here is what has happened since the 26th.
Started the hcg diet of 3 iu a day , 2 shots of 1.5 one in morning and one during dinner time.
The first week on it I lost 12 pounds. Working like a charm.
The doc told me my test levels are low and that's why he gave me test. I'm on 200 mg a week now because of the hcg to maintain muscle. although the hcg is supposed to use fat instead of muscle but this seams to help.
He put me on Cytomel t3 as my levels were a bit on the lower end. Not too low so only a 25mg a day dose.
The test is DEPO-Testosterone (testosterone cypionate injection) twice a week of 100 mg each ( 200 total per week)
Cytomel 25mg day
and the hcg 1.5 iu 2 times a day
are all from pharmacy so its clean and not fake.
I feel fricken awesome. I sleep all night now and feel rested. I have no issues with the 500 cal diet as i figured there is lots to eat on this diet and i stay full.
I also take 2 glasses of water with purefiber to help me keep full
I am averaging 2 pounds a day and no muscle loss at all so far from this diet.
To be honest i wish i did this all sooner because i feel like a million bucks.
