Bloodwork
I'm getting ready to go in for my six-week follow-up blood work. My doctor wants me to get blood drawn seven days after my last injection but I do two injections per week and I was under the assumption that the half-life of test cypionate is 3.5 days so at seven Days wouldn't my test levels be very low and not reflect the actual level that I keep with injecting twice a week

Injecting twice a week provides for more consistent serum levels so in some respects it doesn't really matter when you get tested.
For me, I go in on the day I am scheduled to inject and don't inject till the blood is drawn.
So, plan your day to have blood drawn the day of your injection and you should be fine.

He wanted you to have blood drawn seven days after your last injection because he wanted to see your trough (low point) testosterone level.
I am assuming he told you to inject once per week.
If he told you to inject twice per week then he should have told you to test 3.5 days after your last injection.
Did he tell you to do injections once per week or twice per week?Last edited by The Deadlifting Dog; 11-29-2012 at 02:18 PM.

I do them twice a week and what you said makes sense because I asked him and he clarified that yes he wanted it on the day of my injection thank you for the reply.
