Switching from pinning 1 x to 2 x per week?

Hello to all

I had a question about switching from pinning once a week to twice a week?

If I pinned today my normal dosage do I wait for seven days then start pinning 1/2 my dosage every 3.5 days or in 3.5 days do I start 1/2 my dosage and then wait 3.5 days for my other 1/2?

Hi Gonzo. Depends on when you pinned your weekly shot and when you want to start the 1/2 dose shots. Assuming your doing normal TRT shots and nothing outlandish I'd wait about 5 days from your full shot to start your new protocol. But, if it's not on the day cycle you like (mon-thurs, tues-fri, etc) just wait till then. You'll be fine. If you start early a little extra is not going to hurt you.

If it were me, I would just start your half dosage the day you'd normally inject at twice a week and go from there...yea, you're getting a bit more test that first week but not that much and it won't have a negative effect on your protocol.

Yes, in the grand scheme of things one week is nothing.

If I took double my dose for a week I probably wouldn't even know. My girlfriend is much more likely to impact my quality of life than my testosterone levels when looking at such a short timeframe

Thanks to all for the replies, I did have another question. I am currently taking .5 mg A-dex on injection day. Should I now split that up and take .25 mg. on injection days?

If you inject once a week, then start your new protocol on the same day by injecting half the normal weekly amount. Then the other half 3.5 days later.

Split the AI as well. Some guys here recomend taking it 24 hours after injecting. I've tried that and it works well.

If you inject smaller amounts more often you may need less total AI.

Op, keep your eye on what sparverius said. Monitor your E2 as hopefully you can lower your adex amount and if lucky come off of it totally in the future. I'd test in a couple months to see changes so you can titrate accordingly.

Thanks for all the info guys, my main issue when not taking the AI is that I retain water (Blow up like a ballon)!! Hopefully splitting things up will eliminate that.

And yes Kel, I need to find a new Doc to partner with and get some current blood work done.

I'd split the anastrozole up as well. It's very likely, as indicated, you may need less.

It's important to monitor e2 regularly especially when starting anastrozole because it can and will deplete you of estradiol within weeks if you take too much.
