Donating blood woes

So I have been trying to donate for a couple weeks now. I make it to the place today and door is locked, but hours say its open for another half hour so I run around the building and find another entrance and get in. Take my readings and pulse is 3 points above the limit and they won't retest. I'm furious.
Really tempted to draw my own blood. Where can I get supplies?

I feel your pain bro! As far as supplies just buy 18 g. Needles and 5/32" tubing from hardware store, make sure to clean all none sanitized items with alcohol. See the video I posted to help you.

That happened to me once, I argued with the wife right before I walked in and my pulse was just a tad too high!!

Now I walk in relaxed and if I'm not will sit down for 10 minutes before I walk up to the desk.. But for me it only 20 minutes away

I couldn't find a 5/32" od tubing, found slightly bigger and smaller but didn't fit, I was told to try napa, so check Monday then get on the Internet if that fails.
