Yes it is very low...but why?
Do you have all you blood work and can you post it?
Read the sticky on Finding a TRT Doc you will what you need to make a proper assessment...for a guy your age that's really low and there's probably an underlying cause.
Tell us everything about yourself, diet, training, life style, past aas use, med/drugs, body weight...things like that.

Actually it's all i have. I'm 6'2'' and weight 177 lbs. In Nov 2011 I got very sick, my body was attacked by unknown bacteria (probably it was in food or drink) , started with throat and expanded to my heart and lungs. I had couple surgeries and for over a month was in coma. Doctors say that it's miracle that I survived. I lost over 60 lbs. In result of that sickness I had trachea and gtube, but it's all gone now. My recovery went faster and better then doctors suspected i almost gained my weight back, workout at gym 3 times a week. And two months ago I noticed some decreased in my sexual live and that's why i did or the test. Right now I'm just seeing my physician. He suggested first that i should take testosterone , then after third visit he said that I should try HCB.

You need to get the blood work done in the sticky on finding a TRT Doc at the top of the forum.
You have a medical history and pathology and something went wrong from an endocrinology standpoint and you need to know why FIRST before your just have your Doc throw Testosterone at it.
Do this the right way; get the blood work done first and don't start putting shit into your body till you know what's going on first and foremost.
Your Doc seems like a cowboy so be careful the compounds he's talking about are very powerful.
Do it right!

HRT - Personally I am not a big one on Total assays.
Both of these suggest he's low:
TESTOSTERONE PANEL/M.........86 PG/ML................47-244
TESTOSTERONE FREE
TESTOSTERON,FREE%.............1.3 L %..................1.6-2.9
His Free is below the reference range and it's the best assay for assessing Testosterone serum level.
Something isn't right and he needs more blood work in my personal opinion.

Thanks for help!! I've been thinking about switching to a new doctor a lot. He prescribed testosterone so easily as it was Vitamin C. My knowledge about hormones equals almost zero , but I know that they could do more harm than good if not taken correctly. I will post results of my blood work as soon as I can. I would appreciate all input and advices. I want to be more prepare when I will talk to doctor next time.
Also how long it usually takes to get testosterone to normal level and how the treatment looks like? According to my doctor it's to the end of life it doesn't sound very optimistic.
Should i do all the blood work from the list?:
• Total Testosterone
• Bioavailable Testosterone (AKA “Free and Loosely Bound”)
• Free Testosterone (if Bioavailable T is unavailable)
• SHBG
• DHT (perhaps) *Gel user especially pay attention to this.
• Estradiol (specify “sensitive” assay for males)
• LH
• FSH
• Prolactin
• Cortisol
• Thyroid Panel
• CBC
• Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
• Lipid Profile
• PSA (age dependent)
• IGF-1, IGFBP-3 (if HGH therapy is being considered)
