So, I'm going to be starting HRT soon. Just had my bloodwork done.
Well, I've been feeling all the effect of Low T. and just haven't been myself for the past few years. Sick of feeling this way and recoving from major surgery I decided to get things going. About 3 years ago I did a Test C only Cycle at 500mg/weekly and Clomid and Nolva for PCT. It honestly was the best few months as I felt AWESOME. Since then I haven't felt nearly as good and last year had a major surgery at a young age (36). Now that I'm training again pretty much at full tilt and with things taking longer and longer to recover etc. I decided to take the plunge and try HRT. I found a physician that specializes in Wellness and I joined their service. Today I went for the full blood screens and they are running approx. 10 different tests. Results come back in about a week or so and then a plan will be put in place moving forward. The goal is to get you to the absolute upper limits of Normal T so you feel great but aren't getting 4 times the normal levels.
I know the levels will be approx. 1/2 of what I took prior but I'm curious how others felt when going this route and how it's helped with their workouts and recovery.

HRT has been great for most of us who are doing it for health reasons, which means 100-120 mgs ew along with AIs and hCG . 1/2 of what you cycles is 250 mgs ew which is considered blasting for TRT'ers. you wil feel great in the short term but long term most likely you get unwanted sides, like high e2, liver problems, blood pressure, blood thickening, high cholesterol, and the list goes on... most of us here strive to optimize our health, so we like to keep all our hormones within range with minimal meds. you can blast everyone ion a while but long term high doses you're just asking for trouble. post your BW here when you get it, it would be interesting to see where you are now. remember, allot of us tried clinics and almost all of us got screwed by them subscribing more meds than we needed just to make the extra buck, and most of us got worse that before TRT. i went through it myself, so be careful with clinics and so called HRT docs.

bass- Thanks for the information. I can totally see where they would be trying to constantly upgrade you on other meds. I've kind of gotten that feeling already. The place I'm going is fairly inexpensive and they guarantee their rates will never go up once you're a client. Who knows if it's true or not though. Their up-front cost was $399 and then it's $350 every 10 weeks for Test, HCG , and an estrogen blocker. Not bad at all compared to other places I've looked into. I'm really curious to see where my levels come in as well but I won't have that info for another week to ten days. I felt great for the most part when I did my cycle before but I def. had some other sides which I wouldn't want to deal with again. This is the major reason I never cycled again and I'm not looking to cycle again either. I just want to be able to have a bit more energy, strength, stamina, and quick recovery etc. I'm not looking to bulk or anything like that.

Check out the new clinic from this website, less than $200 a month and everything is covered. I'll post a link when I get back to the office.
