Component Your Value Std Range Units
PSA Total 1.0 <4.0 ng/mL
Nice.
Test Free Male 12 47 - 244 pg/mL
Test Total Male 66 300 - 1080 ng/dL
I'd rank these scores as almost a medical emergency...kid you not.
S H B G 28 11 - 80 nmol/L
Fine.
Testosterone % Free Male 1.8 1.6 - 2.9 %
You're E2 is low that's why you'd see this compared to the Test assay above.
Estradiol <12.0 7.6 - 42.5 pg/mL
Low...too low in fact.
Follicle Stimul Horm 1.4 1.5 - 12.4 mU/ml
Luteinizing Hormone 0.5 1.7 - 8.6 mU/ml
And here's why, both of these panels are tanked. Need to see a complete Thyroid work up among other things.
Tell us everything about you and your case here in this thread not the other one where I had to cut and paste for you.

Sorry about the cross post but I wasn't sure which forum to post in gdivine.
So initially went to doc in March 12 for anxiety, depression and general tiredness. This was concurrent to treatment for back trauma resulting in a pinched sciatic nerve. The muscle relaxers and physical therapy helped the back but the depression meds did nothing. Had blood work on thyroid and test done. Test came back on low side of normal 360-80ish and doc said that the patch could help. That I started in September'ish.
At that time I started going to a gym as well. I was never able to put on muscle or get definition of any kind so I figured the added test might help. Plus I had a few lbs I could lose. So far I've went from 215 to 195 lbs.
In November my doc ordered a new panel to see where I was at and here I am. Lethargic, seemingly muscle wasting and tired a lot still.

Recently adjusted macros from 60/20/20 to 50/30/20 hoping the extra carbs would give me more energy. I'll do a food work up if necessary.
Ht 6'0"
Wt 195 +-2lbs
Bf 15.6%
LBM 39.7%

TDEE 3340. http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculato...alculator.html
Daily Caloric intake: 2500-2000 approx
Goal weight 185
What else can I provide?
And how do my levels drop now that I'm on the patch!Last edited by Riptorn; 12-05-2012 at 03:40 PM.

i second GD regarding medical emergency! i didn't see thyroid, unfortunately that can tell us a little more of what's going on. is your e2 test sensitive assay? you really need to run the panels listed in Kel's thread Finding a Physician to see the whole picture. your cholesterol is good, so that's good news

Thyroid tested good before he did the most recent labs but I just checked it (upstate med has a site to check your med records) and its over a year old. I just reread kels post and ill have the doc do more labs when I see him. Thanks guys for the insight. I'm sure my doc will $hit when we go over my labs. Lol.

Any other suggestions before I see my doc?

Rip how old are you?
Agree with the above guys. Everything points to secondary hypogonadal. You need to consider an MRI to rule in/out pituitary issues and otherwise find the root cause of this. An MRI would be a good starting point.

I'm 38 (Nov of 74) that's 38 right? Lol. I got to say I'm a little freaked by the medical emergency comments. I'm not suicidal even though my motivation is nigh.
Can't for the life of me see why my test would drop so much after going on the patch.
Guess when I see the doc I'll ask for an MRI and the labs I missed in Nov. Hope this gets figured out soon. Can't stand this numb, not quite there feeling.

Whoa. Testosterone patch? That must be on your other thread then as I saw nothing about it here. If your already on some form of therapy your LH/FSH will be non-existant as your in HPTA shutdown.

It is and my bad. I thought I transcribed it over here. But my test shouldn't be tanked as well should it?
-

No, it should not. Time to evaluate protocols with your doc and change things up.

Thank you gentlemen for all the help. I just wish I had something worth while to give back to the boards.
