Update on my TRT with Latest BW results.

I've been on TRT since February of this year, when my TT was 41 ng/dl from a range of 242 - 827 ng/dl.

I inject 40mg of Test-Cyp SubQ 3 x per week, and on Nov 24 my TT level was 570 ng/dl from the same range as above.

    On Nov 21st, I began taking .5 mg of Arimidex 3 x per week, 24 hours after each Test-Cyp injection. My E2 level on Nov. 24 was 92.6 pg/ml from a range of < 42.5 pg/ml.

I just did some blood work today, and my Total Testosterone level is down to 412.1 ng/dl from the same range as above.

I don't have the results yet from today's E2 test.

But why would Arimidex LOWER my testosterone? And by so much?

Just reviewed some old lab results, and this is the second time this has happened when I've taken a supposed A.I.

Back in May, I took an OTC A.I., and my TT went from 668.6 ng/dl on May 8th, to 452.4 on May 25th, while my E2 went from 50.1 pg/ml on April 20th to 79.0 pg/ml on May 25th. I then decided to stop the OTC supposed A.I., and on June 6th my TT was back up to 616.7 ng/dl, but my E2 had risen even higher to 91.8 pg/ml. This was while I was on the same injection protocol that I still am on.

    Maybe I just don't respond to A.I.s.

what's the AI OTC? i've never heard of such thing! Whatever you're taking is probably affecting your T levels! Just my guess.

The supposed OTC A.I. I took back in May was SD Pharmaceuticals, "Anti:A" http://www.supplementsource.ca/produ...20anti%20a.htm

The current A.I. I'm taking now is supposedly Arimidex in .5 mg capsules that I bought from what I was told was a reliable source.

it should deffinetly raise free test levels..if u suspect its from the pills u think are arimidex then cut them out or lower the dose and see if test levels go up on next lab but they should have went up not down

IMO nothing OTC is going to effect E2 levels like a pharmaceutical grade AI like Anastroziol .

Whatever you injested may or may not have effected you.

Better to stick to the basics and what we know.

Good suggestion. I'll see what my current E2 level is, and if it has also gone up, or even if it hasn't, I'll either lower the "Arimidex " dose, or eliminate it totally. Then I'll go and have a talk with the dude who sold it to me.

I understand that with the first OTC A.I. I took, and I blame myself. But I bought this current one, which is supposed to be "black market" Arimidex from someone who is obviously a bodybuilder who "cycles", and whom I've known for a while, so I naturally assumed it was the real deal. I guess he made an ASS out Uf ME.

Unfortunately you don't need a license to illegally sell controlled substances. Lol. There are a lot of pretenders passing off bogus product to make a quick buck.

I've only ever used direct from Pharma AIs. I realize many/most guys can't get that. Currently the only other chem source I'd trust is AR-R .

Live and learn I guess. I'd try the AR-R version of anastrozole, which I believe comes in liquid form, but I'm skeptical about the customs at the U.S,/Canadian border. With my luck, it will get confiscated, and I'll have a SWAT team pounding on my door to "question" me about it.

Unlikely as arimidex is controlled, not banned and the AR-R products are research chemicals.

Good points. Maybe I'll give it a go. Right now though I'm still a bit skeptical about trying anything else. I'm not made of money, and the "Arimidex " already cost me $120.00!!!

You say you are injecting 3x per week. Are you getting your blood work done at the same point each draw? If you got blood work on the same day as your T injection, and then got it again but the day after your T (or two days, if it is done on a Monday and you do no inject on weekend), that could explain some difference. After all, 452 and 570 aren't *that* far apart.

The blood was drawn at the same lab on both occasions, however yesterday, it was drawn 21 hours after my last injection, and the previous time it was drawn 36 hours after my last injection.

From now on I'll try my best to get my blood drawn at relatively the same time in reference to my last injection. I inject Sunday mornings, Tuesday afternoons, and late Thursday nights. I try to get 56 hours between each injection to make them as evenly spaced as possible.

    **UPDATE**

Just got the results of my Estradiol test from yesterday, and while my Total Testosterone dropped from 570.6 ng/dl from a range of 242-827 ng/dl on Nov. 24th to 412.1 ng/dl from the same range, as tested yesterday, my Estradiol also DROPPED from 92.6 pg/ml from a range of < 42.5 pg/ml on Nov. 24th to a level of 67.0 pg/ml from the same range, as tested yesterday.

So I guess what I have really is Arimidex , but for some reason, my TT levels have also dropped. Or maybe it is because I've drawn the blood at different times after my most recent Test-Cyp injection.

But DAMN it's nice to see my E2 levels going down! Not nearly enough of course, but it's a start!
