Endo wants to try HCG to kick start natural production

My Endo called today and asked if I want to try and use HCG to get my body to produce naturally. I'm 37 by the way. He says we can try it for three weeks and then do blood work. I believe he said we'll use 500iu's three times a week.

I'm worried if I get close to 400 or something he might tell me that's good enough and cut me off going by numbers alone. IDK though. After three weeks we can do more blood work and check it out.

I'm wondering if it's something I should try. I'm not sure if my blood work here will tell a story. I just want to get this handled now. My regular doc gave me 100mg injection of test cyp on Wednesday and I started feeling kinda good yesterday and today. Now I have to put off test treatment for three weeks or so.???

Here's my blood again. If anyone can chime in with an opinion I'd greatly appreciate. Thanks.

That's what im worried about "not feeling different". I almost want to tell him no thanks but that could be lame if my body starts to function correctly. I just don't have much faith im gonna be producing numbers above 500 in three weeks and I'm tired of feeling like crap.

How old are you Power Lifter if you don't mind?

lots of guys don't "feel different" even if they go from 200 T to 900, including me. things take time.

if an HCG restart gets your T elevated then I say go for it. there are many positives to having "naturally" high testosterone without any of the drawbacks to having to be prescribed and regularly inject a controlled substance such as testosterone .

I see what you mean about not feeling different over night. Im talking about not feeling sleepy all the time and just in the gutter. I think you're right. I should def give it a shot. Three weeks isn't that long seeing I've been feeling run down for over a year now.

Then why take HCG ? HCG is just an exogenous form of the LH analog. If LH is normal and testosterone is low, then the diagnosis is more than likely to be 'primary hypo'; meaning failure at the testicular/leydig level.

Now I can't remember exactly what he said, lol but my dr told me that my LH should high. He said my test may not have came back fully after my last cycle which ended in oct which was my pct. think it was that the LH would keep pumping trying to signal the testes to produce. Idk it was something like that.

(PowerLifter) I'm 37. My LH is

    5.3. mIU/mL. 1.7 - 8.6

(Vet) I was told the same thing from another poster. I've never done a cycle "yet".
I use to tour in a band and we partied hard. For years I partied like a madman. Still worked out to try and maintain some kind of balance. My Endo thinks all the years of partying is what caused it. Thats just speculation though.

If it's primary I just want to get on with business and get healthy.

    lowtmike sent me this
The dosage of HCG you are doing shouldnt affect E2 at all. HCG 6 weeks is good. Even though we are just mimicing LH. Think of it like jumpstarting a motorcycle. Rolling a bike in neutral then kicking into first starts the engine when the battery is dead. Same thing. Kick testicles in with mimicing LH then the negative feedback loop of the HPTA will fire up considering everything is working properly. If it dosent then you have something else going on. MRI of pituitary, have you abused opiods, pain killers? even using on the weekends for a little while can wreck havoc on the HPTA. Any blunt trauma to head or testicles? These are things that I would start chasing down if 6 weeks of HCG dosent return your levels to normal. Talk with your doctor about these.

Wow! Maybe all the partying did have something to do with it. Im wondering if three weeks is long enough for me to get everything up and running??? Also, I did abuse some opiates. Alcohol was abused very bad for about ten years.

I guess I'll have to try the HCG treatment. You're so young PowerLifter. I really hope this works for you brotha.

I think I'm feeling better cause of my diet this week. I've been using the "cutting thread" in the nutrition forum. I feel freaking great. Plus I quit partying last year. Im still healing from all the damage I did to my body. My Endo can't believe I'm as healthy as I am.haha.

I adopted a diet from Cybergenics when I was in my early teens and it always stuck with me. I think that's what kept me halfway healthy. Wasn't that the good ol' days! Cybergenics had a bad ass diet concept and some junk supplements for sale for 100 bucks.lol

Dam, cybergenics was first real program me and my bro used. When you put it all together with the diet and workout regimen it worked. I went from 185 to 215 at below 10% bf. I made better progress off that than aas. We was eating a boatload food.

Man, I was 12% bf after completing it. Gained tons of strength too from working to failure. The diet was top notch. Those supplements though.haha. I did like the Vortex sustained release aminos.

Also, I had wrestling buddies who were on aas and they thought I was too.

Yep I had a lot ppl in the gym asking if I was juicing and gonna compete. But on a bad note I did a second cycle of it and my bf went down to 3-4 % and my side started hurting went to hospital and was put in due to the fact the dr said due toy low bf my organs were shutting down and they started pumping crap into me to bring it back up. He said I was lucky I didn't die, so I never went under 10% after that. Just not worth the risk unless u competing. But yea we was eating 8 times aday and I think I was at 5000-6000 cals but it burned bf like crazy if you followed that workout. It wasn't for the weak, shit was hard, I still will use some of it to shock myself every now and then. But to old for that.

You're getting to know TRT pretty well, if you ever decide that's what you want to do you could visit E Barry and say the things you have to have to be a patient and ask him if he'll comply....he just might and you also have that antiaging doc that does the HCG diet, he might do what you want.

i actually walked oiut on him many yrs ago because he wouldnt check bloods and only went by how i felt..wouldnt check estrogen, told me i could come off after a trial and be fine, doesnt do hcg and ai....also he is far from my house...the anti aging doctor may be an option but he prefers gels..although ill just tell him i have a gf lol.

the uro i see is 3 mins from my house, and gives hcg so...
im also seeing an endo in august..female though..and she went to a foreign school
