androgel vs im/sq test shots

I am 5 days into my first shot of 200mg test cyp and not feeling much better. Although, when working out I feel a fuller pump but not anymore strength. I know its early and my second shot should be in 5 days. With that said, has anyone here went from shots to gel? I heard some here that went from gel to shots. My main concern is the roller coaster that might occur with the shots half life. D.O. is nervous about 3 shots a month and wants to go down if possible depending on how I feel. Generally speaking, how much is the gel 1.6% and how long does it last giving 1 pump twice a day compare to the 160 I spent on 10ml of test cyp and 10 shots? Just throwing it out there. D.O. not really pushing either way. Trying to get the best bang for the buck.

Your D.O. does not understand testosterones half life. Educate him. Print out Crislers papers and take them to him. Your shots should be weekly at a minimum.

Now I know why teachers are vastly underpaid. Some folks are really hard to educate. But to the question of "to gel from shot" or "to shot from gel" which is best bang for buck generally speaking. I could put on the gel myself twice a day but DO will not let me "pin" myself so its 10 bucks a shot at the office (where my test that I purchase is at)
