    Restoring e2 with transdermal Estradiol!

    Hi gents,

Long time lurker, first post! First I just want to say thanks for a great board, I have learned tonnes here from reading posts, especially those by GD, kelkel, bass to name a few. So thankyou for continuing to contribute to the knowledge base.

Long story short, I have crashed my e2. I'm still suffering from the expected sides, zombie-like emotional state, lethargy, irritability, joint pain etc. Rather than wait for it to creep back up slowly again, or raise my test/hcg dose (which I don't really want to do)... I'm considering applying a small amount of Transdermal estradiol. I have a few sachets of Sandrena 1.0mg Gel, but I really don't know how much to apply. Ladies normally take 0.5-1.5mg as part of bHrt to relieve menopausal symptoms. What I don't want to do is morph into a chick overnight but I'm considering applying 0.5mg today and see how I feel in 24 hours.

Any suggestions? Is this a terrible idea?! Should make for an interesting experiment!

    Thanks for any advise.

I would not be a fan of it personally, although I've never read or looked into that product. Your e will rise on it's own and possibly quickly. When mine crashed I jumped up around 12 pts in a month. GD's big on flax seed oil and soy as a natural method to elevate your E. Google them. IMO your better off having it come back at a normal rate or with natural help to avoid possible E related sides.

Ok thanks dude. I did apply one sachet (1mg) earlier in desperation! I'm finding it hard to work man my concentration and mood is so flat at the moment. Perhaps I'll just bump up my hcg to 500iu's for a few days in row and see if that brings me back.

p.s I had seen GD's posts on soy and flax too. I know these 'mimick' oestrogen... how effective they'd be in providing the beneficial cognitive effects, I'm not sure. They don't actually effect the bodies serum e2 levels as far as I'm aware.

Let us know how it goes. Many of us have been there. You should probably pull an E2 Sensitive Assay every month for the next several months as well.

Kel just to update, I'm starting to feel better in just 6-7 hours, not surprising I suppose since I rubbed a females full daily dose of e2 on (0.5mg on my forearms, 0.5mg on my sack LOL!)

Hopefully that one dose has provided some temporary relief and will not continue to build up and cause other symptoms.

Possibly a viable option for guys that have really crushed their e2, feeling real shitty and don't fancy waiting days/weeks for a rebound.

Probably a ridiculous suggestion on my part though because I had to steal a sachet from my own mother's hrt stash to get hold of the product. How embarrassing

The dose you took is temporary and as it gets through the liver you will return to your normal albeit low level.

Take the Flax and Soy and just wait it out...in time it will normalize.
