Androgel and whether to do HCG

Another friend wanted me to post this question about androgel and HCG
He is on Androgel 1.62 and wants to do HCG but doesn't want to inject more than twice a week knowing that most gel users say they are suppose to inject 3 + times a week. So he wants to know is doing larger amount of HCG once or twice a week, worthless or better than doing nothing at all?

Dr. John Crisler, one of the leading maverick's in TRT for men, believes gels and 100 iu of HCG daily is the ideal protocol for men.

I am a huge advocate for HCG in all TRT protocols (read the sticky).

HCG is better at lower doses more frequently visa vi Crisler.

Higher doses can cause increases in E2 and lower receptor sensitivity.

If he wants to just inject two doses a week I wouldn't recommend no more than 350 iu for each injection.

IMO, it's better to have some HCG than none at all.

Tell your friend that even though it is not convenient to inject daily its worth it. I was shutdown from 1.62% and started HCG about 7-8 weeks later. started 100iu ED and no more shutdown. The boys grew back in a little over a week.
