    What's your AI protocol?

    Hello all,

I just started using an AI, Arimidex . I'm starting with 0,25 mg EOD. Possibly EO3D. I don't have accurate bloodwork to guide me, but I know I was slightly high on my last test, so I will start with this and judge by symptoms.

Curious what everyone here uses and what your protocol is.

    Thanks.

if you were slightly elevated then what you're taking is too much! it’s really hard to advice you without seeing BW. most of us do no more than 0.25 twice a week, it depends on your test dose, 100-120 ew you may or may not need AI, i am on 100 mgs per week and stopped taking AI based on my last BW results, i was on 0.25 twice week. do the BW yourself from privatemdlabs.com, its cheap, and make sure you get the sensitive assay.

I thought I was using a very low dose. It would be interesting to see what everyone uses.

I live in Norway, so I can't get BW from that site. This is my latest E2 test, not 100% sure if it's sensitive:

    Estradiol 0,15 nmol/l (0,06-0,14)

Agree with Bass. It does not appear to be a sensitive assay either.

At .25mg eod you will crush your E2 level. I just referenced this on another thread today as well but an average testosterone "cycle" is 500mg per week. The standard adex dosage is .25 eod. So, imagine what that amount can do to a TRT dosage?

I do not use an AI on my protocol.

    Guys,

    I appreciate the input.

I've heard people who use 0,5 mg ED or EOD, so I was sure 0,25 EOD was a relatively safe dose.

Regarding the test, it's the best one available here in Norway. I thought it was not sensitive, but another guy from Belgium claimed he was 100% sure it was based on the fact that there was a range and a precise reading.

The reason I'm trying an AI is that after improvement in symptoms, I still have issues with libido and erection quality. Basically, I rarely have GOOD morning wood and erections are rather weak most of the time. Another friend of mine who's also on Nebido had GREAT improvements after his initial dose of 0,5 mg and then went on to 0,25 EOD.

Just start as low as possible and titrate based on your BW. Get it tested monthly until you dial it in if possible.

My doc put me on Adex creme. Rub it on top feet once a day. 1mg. I thought it was strange using a creme but my compounding pharmisicts said it's the best way to go. Will find out at my next BW. Anyone ever heard of this application?

But you think 0,25 EOD is too much?

The day after I took my first 0,25, I was more horny and my penis was in a state of being responsive and feeling ready for sex. That went away.

The reason I was asking about everyone's protocol, was to get an idea of what was a normal dose. Would be great if more people could post. A friend of mine started with the same protocol and feels great after adding the Arimidex with great improvements in erection and libido, but his SHBG is much higher than mine.

Unfortunately, I'm limited with regards to bloodwork and I don't even know if the test I got is accurate, so I was hoping to dial it in based on symptoms (mainly erection quality and libido). Here's a guy who used 0,5 ED:

"Having said that, Arimidex has done wonders for me in the 2 months i've been taking it, and my E2 was only 48 after a few months on hcg . the doc prescribed me 0.5mg ED, which is higher than what most people I read about on msg boards take. I tried that at first, felt nothing for about 10 days, then all of a sudden I started waking up with the biggest erections I had experienced in many years. and libido came back and now I think about sex all the time. just the hcg alone wasnt doing it for me even though it did raise my T levels. i have now cut back to 0.5mg EOD, which is still higher than most people seem to take, but it seems to be working for me. I read a comment on another more steroid oriented forum where a guy was saying to calibrate the Arimidex dosage based on morning wood, because if it gets too low you wont have it, but if it's just right it will be huge and powerful."

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I noticed very little from 0,25 EOD. I'm now at 0,5 EOD and something is definitely improving! Erections are better, I'm more horny and feel ready for sex!

I'm careful to attribute it to the AI yet though, as I've had such experiences before, but I'm mildly optimistic!
