Starting anastrozole

I am starting my AI today. Any thoughts on how long this will take to affect my e2 levels? Doc put me on .5 twice a week the day before each one of my injections.

What is your protocol and what is your current E2 level? Adex will begin working immediately as no loading phase is required. I would not go any longer than a month to retest, IMO. Unless your E2 level is very high, .5 x 2 may be a bit much. Always better to start low and titrate up if needed.

You should take the AI the day after your injection.

Test peaks at about 72 hours after injection and the half life of an AI is about 50 hours...you want both to peak at the same time...other wise the AI will peak before the Test and you won't get the optimal performance of both.

7-42 I'm at 44 I know this isn't the sensitive assay test . Test c 50 mg x2 week hcg250 x 2 a week day before test. And they are capsules might make it a little difficult to split in half

I could feel gyno relief from anastrozole in1-2 days.

Having said that, I can also go from normal E2 levels to under 3 in about 2 weeks if I take too much.

All in all, I would recommend using anastrozole as a LAST resort. Before this, I would try more frequent and smaller injections, supplementing zinc with copper, then less T per week. Dr Mark Gordon has incredible success with these basic steps in his effort to avoid using harsh Ai's such as anastrozole.

The stuff is potent, but I feel like plenty of guys out there overdo it. Among other things, this is very bad for bone health over time. How many years are you going to be on TRT? 5, 10, 20, 40??? Do you want to be on anastrozole that entire time too? That's for you to decide.

I already take zinc citrate. Perhaps I could do .25 x 2 a week . How would I split dose in capsule ?

Carefully! I'd ask your doc to just re-write the script for 1mg tabs which you can then cut.
