    New Blood Work

Here is my new blood work from the endo. I am 32 y/o 6'2" 215 lbs. Here are the results (01/08/2013):

    Code:
    Test Result	Units Reference Interval
    Testosterone 493	ng/dl (348-1197)
    % Free Testosterone 2.3	% (1.5-3.2)
    Free Testosterone 113	pg/mL (52-280)
    Luteinizing Hormone(LH) 3.7	mIU/mL (1.7-8.6)
    FSH 2.7	mIU/mL (1.5-12.4)
My blood work looks a little better than my previous one I took on 12/11/12 Where my Testosterone was at 394ng/dl(Ref: 348-1197) and free Testosterone 15.88 ng/dl (Ref: 5.0-21.00).

She thinks my symptoms are because my body is used to higher levels of Testosterone . She is prescribing me Clomid to take 1 pill every other day for 2 weeks total to try to restart my system and then do blood work again to see where i am at.

Overall, how do all the numbers look and do you guys think Clomid is a step in the right direction?

    Any previous cycle history?
Can you post further BW up or was that all that was done.
Many things can cause low T such as Hypothyroid, cortisol, testical issues, trauma, pathologies.

Personally I think they'd be a bit higher for your age. Answer my questions...

I tried to get the blood work recommended in your finding a trt doc thread, but it is near impossible getting a hold of someone in her office to talk to. I think I left 3 voice mails at her office and no one ever calls me back, so just to speed the process I just did the LH, FSH, and Testosterone test done that she put on my lapcorp slip. I had an appointment with her yesterday on my follow up on the bloodwork and wants me to try clomid eod for 2 weeks and then retest just my total testosterone levels to see where they are at. They were supposed to call me back with where i am supposed to get my prescription filled at, but I am yet to hear from them and I know it is hard as shit to talk to a real person there and I am beginning to become a little frustrated with how her office is operated.

As far as cycle goes I did one back in 2004 and it consisted of a jump start with Dbol first couple weeks @ 30mg/ day i think for first 2 weeks, 400mg Test Enth /week for 12 weeks, and 200 mg of Deca / week for first 10 weeks. As for PCT I just ran Nolvadex .

I posted in another thread back in 2006 I had testicular torsion and it took the ER a long time to diagnose and I almost lost one of them due to circulation issues.

Was blood flow returned to normal after the torsion was rectified?
Really need full BW to make a serious assessment. Yes LH/FSH is low but what's the root cause? Age related, possibly but who knows at this point. Really throwing darts here. Your doc should want complete BW including full thryoid analysis before starting any ancillaries.

TRT is your last choice. At least she's not giving up and just putting you on T right away. Hunt for the cause. Find another doc is you must. My god what if it's just a minor thyroid issue? Or prolactin is elevated?

Here is new blood work I did 10 days after a 2 week clomid restart. She had me doing 50 mg clomid eod for 2 weeks. All she tested for on the bw is Testosterone and Free testosterone. I did notice I had a couple of big pimples on my face where I usually don't get pimples. Also, about a week and a half into clomid, I got a really sharp pain in my right eye almost like a hard contact lense was stuck in the side of my eye. I told her about it and she said that clomid shouldn't do that and she never heard of anything like that, even though I read in other peoples post they were having eye issues. She wants to do another Testosterone test in 3 weeks to see if my testosterone drops back down.

    Code:
    Test Result	Units Reference Interval
    Testosterone 536	ng/dl (348-1197)
    % Free Testosterone 2.4	% (1.5-3.2)
    Free Testosterone 129	pg/mL (52-280)

Just a guess but I am betting your test levels go back down

I am really thinking about finding a new doctor, because she didn't want to do all the blood to get a baseline of everything to see the root cause of my symptoms. Seems like one would want to test for LH after having me use clomid to see if it stimulated LH to rise. It bugs me that she just blew off the fact my right eye hurt like shit for 3 days and she might want to start me back on clomid after my next blood test if my testosterone falls back down.

Has anyone here seen Dr. Romeo Mariano? I hear a lot of people talking about him on the forums and just want a little feedback on him from members on here who have used him. Does he take insurance as well? If he doesn't take insurance, what does he charge? I just really want someone who knows what they are doing!
