Is more test better in terms of erections (assuming E2 is in check)

Basically the title is what I want to know

From my calculations my test is ~685 ng/dl. I'm taking 48mg's of test cyp EOD (168mg/week), and a little HCG along with some aromasin and cialis. I'm not exactly sure what my E2 is till my next dr's appointment in 2 weeks, but it is about as 'in check' as I can get it.

However, I could still use a little help. I'm wondering if maybe getting test levels up to say 850ng/dl, and then getting E2 in check might give me that last little bump I need. I know going from the high 300's to the high 600's has helped, so it may stand to reason that going from the high 600's to the 800's may also help?

I'm sure there is a limit to this. Meaning 4000ng/dl isn't better than 850ng/dl. But maybe 850 is better than 685?

    Thanks

Levels of 650 vs 850 are both physiologic ranges... to me, it would be worth a trial at the very least to see if it makes one feel better. If it doesn't, you know the upper limit at least.

Nobody can really tell how any one individual would react to such a change... hence we always say that TRT is something you study in yourself, as an ongoing n=1 experiment.

Yeah, I think you are right that I should give it a trial to see how it goes.

Unfortunately, my Dr is conservative with the TRT, and doesn't really know what he's doing so I kind of doubt he'll be cool moving up to 210mg/week. And, unfortunately in Canada our testosterone range only goes up to ~800 ng/dl. Guessing I'll probably have to run some of my own test on top if i want to try a higher test level unfortunately. I'd really rather not.

In terms of what? strength, mood, libido, erection strength? All of the above?

Also, was E2 in a good range at both 800, and 1200?

I wish I could try 1200, but I would need 300mg of test a week, And I doubt the doc is prescribing that, lol.

Wow... slow down or at least for me to understand. What are your goals? Pleas confirm what you said about your E2 and 800 - 1200 ?? huh. Did I get that wrong. What is your total test level ng/dL what is your total free test pg/mL and what is your E2 pg/mL ?...crazy mike

I was wondering if his E2 was at a good level when his test was at 800 ng/dl, and 1200ng/dl. It wouldn't be a very good comparison if his E2 was out of whack when his test was at 800ng/dl, and he was comparing it to when his E2 was at a good spot while testosterone was 1200ng/dl.

Personally, my test level is currently at 685ng/dl. I don't exactly know what my E2 is currently (have a docs appointment in 2 weeks), however going by feeling, and past E2 results, and Aromasin dosing I would say I'm currently in the 'sweet spot'. I have quite a bit of experience with going too low on E2, and too high so I'm aware of the symptoms of both. Currently I have zero anxiety, good mood, no bloat, etc.... I do not know what my free test is; however, in past blood work when I've returned ~685ng/dl my free test came back at 65 pmol/L (ref range 31-94). So free test is about 54% of the normal range.

My goals would be to improve erections a bit, and improve fatigue a bit.

Your questions and your post don't make sense. You speak to "if" and "my calculations" you speak of a sweet spot...on your posts...What is that, how do you know. You don't know your E2 levels. It seem tat you want, you are figuring, you are calculating and guessing and comparing. That's what I get from you. This is science and you get tests and lab results and you compare then n now and how you feel then and now. You cannot predict what your levels will be upon any dosage. I'm 61 with natural test level of 619 ng/dL total. On this cycle I went to 7331 ng/dL total and E2 of 95 in a male range of 0.0-56 now I've gone to test 5400 ng/dl to e2 of 505 in a male range of 0.0-56 yep. I have erections that are scary. So I can't make heads or tails as to what you are saying...crazy mike for sure

I'm not sure what your questions have to do with the question asked in this thread. I'm assuming you are not on TRT? My questions and post make perfect sense.

I probably am misinformed. I am not on TRT. But I don't know what and how you say your calculations and not test results. But what ever, it only shows that I don't know what I am talking about. So my apology and I will bow out, respectfully. ...crazy mike
