low test high estrogen? ??
I'm 28 6'0 230lbs about 15-16% body fat I have been working out 6 days a week and eating clean for the last year I'm pretty fit but have fat on my belly, boobs! I went a got tested in November because I was planning on running ab10 week cycle but then I got my test back my estrogen was really high and testostrone was low! I have a appt with a endo on feb 15 just not sure what I need to ask them or what should I try to gwt them to do about my issue! I seem to have low libado for my age , poor sleep, get depersssed regular about my weight, irritable, belly and boob fat always seem tired fatigue like I need a nap!
Estrogen (95) range -40-115pg/ml
Test free (12.5) range- 9.3-26.5 pg/ml
Test total test (330) range -241-827 ng/dl
I don't have any fsh or lh levels? Not sure why that wasn't tested

Read the stickies at the top of the forum first and foremost.
Dismissing any past aas abuse or other meds, 28 year old otherwise healthy men should be peaking and you're tanked with elevated E2.
See the labs you need in kels sticky on Finding a TRT Doc to see what you need
Baring aas use I suspect you have some type of medical condition.
Don't let them just throw Testosterone at you until you get a complete and thorough diagnosis...just a word to the wise

Any ideas on what could be the causing factor that I should get them to check ? Thyroid maybe?
-
Could be a million things... libido alone is super complex, let alone depression...
You would probably be well served to find a doctor who focuses on quality of life/wellness as opposed to just a doctor to tune up your thyroid, such as an endocrinologist. I just don't think its very likely that complex issues can be solved if a typical western doc throws you on some thyroid meds. Same thing goes for testosterone replacement .
