Diagnosed with Low T...Am I crazy or is this price too high?
I was diagnosed with Low T and high estradiol levels naturally (as in not coming off a cycle) and they started me weekly with
75mg Test Cyp cream
50iu hCG
2mg arimidex .
Just did blood work again and to nobody's surprise my levels didn't up very much (actually estradiol actually rose 2 points).
Now they want me on the 20% cream which is equivalent to 200mg Test Cyp a week, 3 arimidex a week at $4 a piece and 50mg anavar , however the anavar are 25mg and they cost $8 a piece as well as staying on hCG. Is this worth the total cost or is this crap? Need help deciding what to do before I drop close to a thousand dollars.
They are scared to give me the shots because I am under 30.

If you're under 30 with low testosterone serum levels and high E2 you need to be diagnosed because that's just not normal.
Throwing drugs at you is not an answer.
There a number of excellent Docs in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area that can help you.

Youre going to a pill mill.
You need a good doc who is an expert in TRT for men and cares about your well being.

Doesn't anavar suppress test? And that's why if you use it you should run test with it? I could've swore I read a thread on here stating that people on anavar alone actually got lower test levels than before they started.

Thank you. I will look up Dr. Dach and try and make an appointment. I thought something was up when this place won't give me a prescription for the medication prescribed because I have insurance with a $5 copayment.

Yeah, I'd avoid that place like the plague. Like GD said, you need to explore your diagnosis a little deeper to know what's really going on with you.
If you have some baseline labs, we'd like to see them (thanks).

Yeah I've done two sets of lab with Labcorp. On Monday I will see if I can get a copy either thru them or thru the HRT Dr. I have no problem putting them up. Just some stats: 28 years old
248lb bout 22% body fat. I have been in three car accidents (broken femur twice, traumatic brain injury) so I can't do legs but I do upper body. Incline Bench - 315x8. One day I just got fed up with the weight gain and depression following the accidents so I went and got it checked and T levels were in the low 300's estradiol was 51 (I believe) and GH lvl's I was told was just barely above the lvl considered treatable with supplementation. LH was normal.

Ah ha!
You should know that head injuries are a big cause for suppression in sex hormones in men...I am willing to bet this is the cause.
You need to have a full panel of hormones run; see kel's sticky on finding a TRT Doc you'll see what you need.
Dr. Dach will need to know about your injuries but I think you just found your answer.
If the Hypothalamus or Pituitary glands were injured when the brain injury happened, and they often are, you may need TRT for life my friend.
Keep us posted on things in this thread as you progress.

Isnt that strange how that works. I have read so many post over the years about guys test dropping dramatically after a head injury of some type typically due to a car accident or something. What sucks is this is when we need the test working to help promote healing. I hate to imagine how long I really had low T due to the number of head traumas I have had since I was a kid. I would be surprised if my skull is not covered with fractures. lol

I used to fight but only for a short time. I have never been fully KOed but i have had my bell rung more times than i can recall. I didnt have the best test but midrange, but IGF1 is always kinda low when i test. Ive been on trt for about a year but havent addressed the GH thing yet because those were my own tests, he never tested igf1. An MRI he ordered did show i have empty cella syndrome, and i have read that could be the cause of low test and IGF since it affects LH and GH. I also read empty cella can is prominant in amateur kickboxers. So my next step is to adress this. Hes dumb for not testing igf1 if he new i had empty cella

Damn that's crazy how head injuries to a tiny pituitary gland the size of a pea can alter your whole body's output of what we men were made with that makes us a man. You were spot on with the head trauma diagnosis being the cause. I have read into it more since you suggested that's the problem and your right. You would think Dr's especially ones that deal in head trauma could make this link.
