Dopaminergics and TRT

Hi all,

I was considering using a dopaminergic along with my trt protocol for libido. I am looking into Pramipexole but would like to know your experiences with Prami, Caber, Bromo, Selegiline, or other to try to find out which one has the greatest libido and well-being potential.

My experience with dopaminergics has been the following:

- Apomorphine (taken on demand) - Since it was taken on demand, I did not feel any boost in libido, but the refractory period was non-existent.

- Caber (taken on demand and on cycle for prolactin control) - Nothing to mention when taken on demand. No prolactin related sides while on cycle.

- Bromo (taken on cycle for prolactin control) - Same as above. Prolactin felt in check but no increased libido.

Do you include dopaminergics in your trt protocol? Which one? Experiences?

I take both Selegiline and Cabergoline.

Selegiline - I take 2.5 mg daily and not for the dopaminergic effect but for the wonderful anti-aging and neuro effects. While some have reported increased libido on it I have not found that to be true in my case; my purposes for this drug are for the preventive effects it has on the brain.

Cabergoline - I take .25 mg twice a week of this dopamine agonist, which is a very low dose. Now, this drug does have an effect on my libido especially the two days after taking it so I can testify in my case it does enhance libido.

Note that I do not take these on demand; I believe you need a consistent serum level of both to get the effect you are seeking.

Use the search function on the site and you will find a lot of threads on these compounds as well and other members experiences.

I would urge you to also look into a compound known as PT-141 if you are interested in what may be the most effective and clinically proven libido enhancer. I have used this compound at least 15 times and the effects are amazing and can last for days. Throw in some Viagra and you will be a porn start wanna be

I know PT-141, not by itslef but by taking MTII. Yes, it was nice and for a few hours I was popping wood left and right like it was nobody's business, but at the same time I got a bit of nausea.

I will look in more detail to Selegiline, but from what I gathered Pramipexole also has some neuro-protection properties.

I did a search already, but 99% of the posts have to do with prolactin control while on cycles involving 19nor hormones, not so much information on dopaminergics usage for well-being or libido enhancement.
