    Noted.

High E2 is excitatory to the brain and that could well be a factor playing with your anxiety issues.

Let me ask also, did a specialist tell you what you experience are actual panic attacks or you just assume they are?

No, I just assumed that sweaty palms/brow, rapid heartbeat, feeling faint, need to escape, etc. were reliable symptoms of a panic attack.

I did have a high E2 aromatization, and am now on an AI which I believe is helping to cut back on the panic attacks (too soon to say, truthfully).

Anyone else experience this, either in the early days of TRT or even now?

For me, the panic attacks came on without any warning. Several of them occurred in public spaces where I felt overheated and overwhelmed by too many people standing around.
for me i feel better on test/hrt in regards to that. liek mentioned high E2 may be why so i am sure now that you are using an AI (should have from start) that it should get better, but this is a VERY useful tool i found and its free (unless you want to donate) and has helped some i know and even me at one point yrs ago

how is "that for sure" ... it can have many triggers... like genetic, hormonal and cognitively learns or combinations... it could very well be hrt related (high estro etc)

Sounds more like an adrenaline rush or "fight or flight" kind of reaction, difficult to say it's full blown panic attack.

If your prone to aromatization be sure your E2 is in check, things change over time so you gotta re-test them.

I know without a doubt that I'm shutdown....I just shudder thinking about putting any T into my system. It has been a rare "ok" day since starting TRT. Waiting on E2 results to roll in (hopefully tomorrow). I am convinced that I'm aromatizing. A lot.
HCG known to trigger it too

I had quite bad anxiety with low T, then added levothyroxine (T4) and... bam, panic attacks.

This is interesting. I think anyone with anxiety issues experiencing a flux in hormonal levels stands a chance at having these issues. Once it levels out I bet you will be fine. I have anxiety issues but I refuse to take meds for it. Sometimes I just have to turn up some loud music, drink a red bull, (which should be counter productive) and I make myself get pumped and turn it all into rage and adrenaline. I am sure I have some screws loose but I can tighten them back up this way temporarily.
My other self treatment is to busy myself. I know a guy with severe anxiety and he is constantly doing something to stay busy and battle it. God bless the poor guy, he has a heart of gold.
Bedtime is the bitch for anxiety. Cant stay busy when you need to be sleeping.

I've been on trt for just over two years and I've had 2-3 panic attacks. They've happened when I was over tired, ate too much salt, evenings and blood pressure was high. It's scary. The first time it happened I thought I was having a heart attack - b/c I've never had a panic attack and didn't know what it was. The 2nd time it happened I immediately took a Xanax, tried to breathe slowly and relax. After an hour or so I was good. My most recent was last week. I'm on an immediate mission to lower my bp and don't put myself in that position again. Good luck to you.

You may have a high hematocrit level. I was experiencing some of your symptoms and 1) consumed 5 stalks of celery ed which really helps the BP. 2) I gave blood which made everything perfect.

Interesting topic...... I'm on TRT, and I seem to have fluctuating anxiety on TRT. Not necessarily related to any of my dosing schedules, either (I've tried every type of schedule). I'm miles better than before I started TRT, though. MILES!!!
