Hello! I'm a long time viewer of these forums and think it high time I subscribe and post in effort to keep learning.

I'm a 24 year old male who was diagnosed over 3 years ago with secondary hypogonadism and hypothyroidism. Originally, a MRI showed a 2.5 mm adenoma on my pituitary, but given the small size, I doubt the insignificant anomaly to be the cause of my pituitary shutdown. My most recent MRI (one done every year) showed no adenoma, which is good news.

I have no history of steroid /prohormone use, so I can either chalk up my unusual condition to environmental factors, genetics, and/or severe amounts of over-training. I think a fair case could be made for the latter, but the several doctor's I've gone too have only a rudimentary understanding about exercise and subsequent manipulations in the central nervous system and hormones.

I've been on TRT ever since (sorta a love-hate relationship, given my quality-of-life is a thousand times better, but feel handicapped knowing I'm dependent on medication for the rest of my life). I've been under the care of several endocrinologists, the first being over zealous with the testosterone injections (350mg a week). Obvious to say, I developed estrogen related symptoms (gynecomastia ) and have two lumpectomies as a result.

My current TRT protocol is the following:

Testosterone cypionate : 100 mg/5 days
Anastrozle: 0.25 mg /2x weekly
Synthroid : 137 mcg/day
Cytomel : 25 mcg/day
Stinging Nettle Herbal Supplement: 500 mg /day
DHEA: 25 mg/day
Pregnenolone: 50 mg/day
Multi-Vitamin (includes iron, zinc, vitamin D), B-Vitamin Complex. Fish Oil, , Creatine

I "self-prescribe" the AI (seems endocrinologists are hesitant to write scripts for a drug connoted with cancer). I was never prescribed HCG :-(

A recent sperm analysis came back azoospermia. I've also experienced testicular atrophy. I'm being referred to a infertility urologist, who hopefully can get me back on track. I'd like to have kids someday :-/

To give a quick overview of myself, I live a pretty active lifestyle working out 4-5 times a week, to include weights and run usually 20-30 miles a week. I'm 6' (foot), weigh 190 lbs, and 9.0% body fat (according to some DEXA scanner at the gym).

Now that I'm a member of the board, I'm sure I'll be posting several follow-up questions, as well as doing my best to contribute to the public conversation. In the meantime, are there any suggestions/additions/modifications/subtractions from my current regiment? I know there's debate about the DHEA and Pregnenolone and back-filling pathways etc., so I'm open to any thoughts! I'm also thinking about meddling with MT-II and Cialis - both seem to be hyped up around the board, and perhaps for good reason ;-)

Cheers!
