Blood work for women
This is directed to the women and knowledgable members of this forum. What would be the correct blood test from private MD for a women who's 44, works out 4 to 5 times a week, but isn't feeling herself. Diet is perfect, and Taking Yaz birth control for 3 years and is now getting periods again. She had her thyroid radioactively killed 6 years ago because it was hyper. She's tired alot and thats not like her. Its mentally harder now for her now because I'm feeling and looking as fit as a fiddle and wants what I have. Her OBGYN told her that I should stop my testosterone treatment because it causes heart attacks so that tells me I don't want her doctor ordering her any blood tests hence going the Private MD route for now and then seeking someone who deals with and knows womens issues. Thanks!

Wow That OBGYN really shouldn't be discussing this with your wife. Not to mention, she should seek another doc.
Anyway... a full female hormone panel is where I would start.
