Supplements that go hand in hand with HRT and men's health in general

I see people posting to try and find out what kind of supplements some of the well known members taken alongside their hormone therapy. Unless I'm not seeing something, I think it would be a good idea to make a sticky of supplements to take alongside ones therapy, hell even for just men's health in general; dhea,5-htp,zinc...etc alongside dosage suggestions.

From what I've read, patients that are new to TRT should avoid supplements until they are dialed in. This prevents from having to thumb out different ingredients that could be affecting BW. I believe Kel mentions to wait 12 months or until your settled in with a proper protocol that will no longer need tweaking.

I've been taking Animal Pak, Animal M Stak and Stak when I workout. Also hypershock, aftershock, and creatine. I also take bio super curcurrum w some real extra virgin olive oil. Also vit D and glucosamine/condroitin.

Many people here take vitamin D because we were deficient.

Some other common vitamins and nutrients include:
    B-12 (also B complexes)
    Iron
    Zinc + Copper
    Magnesium
    DHEA
    Pregnenolone
    Fish oil

These, I believe, are some of the most common and (my opinion) most validated/worthwhile.

There are other things that some people take for specific reasons as well that many people might not want to take or feel is necessary. Off the top of my head I would think of iodine or selenium for thyroid function.

I do believe it's important to test yourself before you just start taking tons of stuff. Personally, I aim to take the least amount of pills/potions/creams as possible. My goal is to improve nutrition to the point where the extras are not needed.

    ^ this.

A nutritionally sound diet will help eliminate a lot supplements (vitamins, minerals, fish oil etc.). Though DHEA and pregenolone may still be insufficient? Just a week ago I started supplementing with DHEA/pregenolone -- I'll update any noticeable differences after a few more weeks.
