Sub-q testosterone injections ever make you sleepy?

I recently switched over from gels (fail) to cream (fail) to sub-q injections. I've done 2 sub-q injections this week (60 mg each), and after approx. 2 hours after each I've just wanted to go to bed. Seems weird, so I thought I'd ask around. It's definitely not psychosomatic. Nap time, anyone??

Perhaps this is just a newbie thing? Anyone recall feeling this initially when starting TRT? Thanks all.

Probably has something to do with timing just bein right.... maybe you inject after a meal, etc?

Regardless, I've never heard of this before.

Possibly it could be an elevated stress response which taxes your system. Then once your parasympathetic system kicks in you feel the need to rest. I would EXPECT, if this were the case, that it would fade... coffee might be a bandaid but it would certainly tax your adrenals more

I am assuming you are just feeling the effects of being crashed as you were administering daily and now you have to wait 6+ weeks for the injections to build up in your system.

    Hah...finally someone else!

I get the same deal when I take test or test and other compounds, I always assumed it was due to increased tissue repair/or a increase improvement in relaxation lack of stress, causing the body to seek rest. But I could be completely wrong..at least there are two of us now!

HGH also causes increased sleepiness at least in those BB types who work out/ eat a lot ( have no idea whether this is the case in usage by Joe Average).

Interesting. I knew I wasn't imagining things. I'm a ~10% body fat, long-distance runner type. I was thinking of moving my injections to the evening so as to avoid this crash (assuming this continues).

HCG seems to be less so, but still some crash, relatively quickly. I also feel very hungry after injecting even low dosages (100 IU) of HCG. Have you experienced this?
