Low T. Hcg didn't seem to help. I hope you all can.
Man. Where to start. I am 34. 5.10. 215. A little fat. I was not feeling good. Went to hrt dr. I am just looking for feedback. Super low libido. Erec not great either.
Initial lab results. 1-12-2013.
TSH 1.34. R .45-4.5
Triiodothyronine, Free, serum 2.5. R 2.0-4.4
T4, Free (direct) 1.39. R .82-1.77
LH 5.4. R 1.7-8.6
FSH 4.0 R. 1.5-12.4
Test, Serum. 498. R. 348-1197
Free. 17.2. R. 8.7-25.1
DHEA. 280.1. R. 160-449
IGF. 193. R. 71.241
Vit D. 34.9. R. 30-100
Estradiol, Sensitive. 10. R. 3-70
SHBG. 26.2. R. 16.5-55.9
On the second test, 3-1-2013. The dr didn't test for as much. No LH or FSH. No SHBG.
Test, Serum. 357. R. 348-1197 (Guess I dropped more than I thought!!)
Free. 12.2. R. 8.7-25.1
Preg. 29. R. Adults: <151 (I was 58 at 1/18/13)
DHEA 402.7. R. 160-449
IGF. 242. R. 71-241
Estradiol. 9. R. 3-70.
Does that help? Preg dropped. Test dropped.
Started HCG and HGH around 1-23-2013.
1:10000 unit vial. 10 mls vial. All I know is that I used the entire vial. I did it twice a week and it took me five weeks.
Arimidex 0.25 once a week
.2mg hgh m-f
Started Test 3-2-2013
I have 150mg/cc test cream. I take 1 cc per day for 30 days.
I have taken 10 mg dhea and preg the whole time.
Why did my test and preg go down? I don't feel horny. It sucks. This is messing up relationships with women.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've heard before of guys starting gels and their test total goes lower....it means it's not getting into your system enough and you might have to consider a different form of test delivery or increase your dose.

HCG doesnt do the trick for everyone. Sometimes you need Clomid or a mix of the two to get things working again.
Also scans/mri of thyroid to check for tumors and if all else fails then TRT.

your test is just under 500 thats not that low for your age but none the less DO NOT waste your time with creams. They are not worth the hassle. get on the injects also if your looking to boost your natural levels use 120mg torem, 50mg clomid for 2 weeks then drop down to 60mg torem, 25mg clomid, and 20 nolvadex for 5 weeks. That will get your boys working again but only if they have life left in them.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Let me outline some of my concerns for you all. I initially posted where I should not have, so I kinda puked all this information in the thread. : )
1. My dr is cycling HCG and Test cream. Keep in mind I am 34. No kids. Want them at some point. Is this the best way to do it? I am having low t side effects for sure. I can't lose weight even though I am eating clean etc. Someone else mentioned I should store sperm. Yes?
2. I took HCG and my test didn't go up. It went down. FROM 498 TO 357. My anti aging dr said she was trying to get me in the 900-1000 range. Too high?
3. I am taking preg 10 mg daily at night. It went down too. From 59 to 29. What is a good level for this?

I just read a bit on Torem, Clomid, and Novadex. I am a complete novice to this, so this question may sound insulting. I just literally don't know.
When I read about these products, they all look like they inhibit estrogen. My estrogen is very low as it is. Estradiol. 9. R. 3-70. (3-1-2013). Estradiol, Sensitive. 10. R. 3-70 (1-12-2013). Again, I am still learning like crazy here, so I am not sure if I fully understand.
I am looking for the pros to teach me.
Thanks a ton!

Ok. Talked with Dr today on low test. Here is what she told me. She wants me to continue to cycle hcg and test.
Week one-150 mg of test via cream
Week two-HCG M,W,F
My preg was low so we are doubling to 20mg a day.
The reason I am cycling is to maintain my ability to have kids. Any comments? Still would welcome comments in general. Thanks for the time.

I really don't think your doc has much of a clue and I don't think TRT is/was your answer. Libido seems to be your issue and testosterone is only part of that process. I would come off of TRT and find a more thorough doctor. I have never heard of cycling Test one week and hcg the next if I read that correctly. Find a better doc. Maybe one with testicals.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. Never heard of cycling TRT.
My TRT doc says that his patients have been able to get off test and get on a corse of adex and hcg to make a baby.

Guys. I really appreciate the feedback. Her methods seem weird. I would like to feel more mentally sharp, lose fat, and gain muscle. Could you please suggest where I would find someone? The dr is an anti aging dr. I am in SF so there are plenty of options.
Thanks again!

Kel. Regarding tests, she seems to want to do as little as possible. I am surprised by this. I have no prolactin test. Should I just tell her to get me one? Actually you suggest a guy dr. Hahaha. Not a bad call.
Where should dhea, preg, and E2 be? On stopping the AI, you really think it is messing with my junk??? I thought est was bad. I guess the same thing a lot of people think.
Thanks for all the info. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

You don't need to walk away from this Quack...you need to run as fast as you can...and I kid you not.
Here are 3 of the absolute best to fix you in your State...and they happen to be some of the best in TRT for men in the country:
Dr Mark L Gordon (Los Angeles, California) - http://www.millenniumhealthcenters.com/
Dr Ron Rothenberg (Encinitas, California) - http://www.ehealthspan.com
Dr Harvey Bartnof (San Francisco, California) - http://www.drbartnof.com/
Of the 3 I'd see Gordon if it meant a few hour drive and for you it is.
Get the correct care my friend and get better...and tell this Doc "she's fired!"

Gd. Thanks for the comments. I live in SF. Is Gordon worth the 10 hour drive or a flight?
Either way, I will get on the phone with one of the two very soon. I will let you all know how it goes.
Thanks to everyone for their input. It helps to have experienced folks to learn from.

Just talked to Dr. Gordon on the phone. He said my dr is doing it all wrong. I guess I expected him to say that. : ). It was nice of him to talk to me on the phone. The other doc wants labs and money before she even talks to you.
I am definitely going to get a second opinion from him. He is going to set me up with his staff so I can send my current info and get more bw. After he can assess my situation further, I think I will switch.
Thanks guys. Hope you don't mind if I keep in touch for more advice. Talk to you soon. Well, I am not really going anywhere. This is a great community. I will be active for sure.

Hey guys,
So lots has happened. Short version is I got a second opinion. Normal HRT TRT with no cycling. I was hoping for assistance with the labs. They are a little interesting. 150 per day on gel. 150 iu hcg . 5-2 hgh. I am doing a little more than the TRT guy said, but I feel really good. I just don't want to be hurting myself.
No a dex.

I went through a total roller coaster getting myself feeling good. I am blown away how high the t is with no E conversion. I didn't take the a inhibitor because, based on the numerous threads, you should be in the 20 range to feel good. Perhaps that explains my relatively low sex drive.
Any help would be great. Kel? You and a fallen solider gave a push in the right direction. I wonder if I am falling into the more is better.
Also, gave blood 8 ish weeks ago.

even though low e is good for you i still have a sense of pride having low e lol.
if you raised your e by 5 points you are pretty much balanced perfectly...although 20 is considered a very good e level too.
