E2 Question and how much to cut back on AI

I recently received my blood tests back and my E2 was 20 which is down from 39 a few months ago. I had only been on liquidex for about 2 weeks before test. I was taking about 3 drops EOD or 0.25mg a week. How should I manage down my AI dose? I inject E3D 34-36mg subq. I seem to be an over responder to adex. Thanks.

This may sound juvenile but what about two drops? Have you experimented with less Adex with your current TRT protocol of E3D 34-36mg SubQ?

That's fair I actually thought I mentioned that in my post but obviously I forgot - Must be some residual brain fog.

I stopped taking the adex about a week ago because I felt like I was going a little low due to some flushing around my neck. I guess I'll try again with 2 drops the day after my injection. Thanks for the reply.

    Did you have symptoms before?

I'm just curious whether or not you needed the AI in the first place. It's not all about numbers, and depending on the test you had, 39 isn't necessarily bad.

Only test I can think of where 39 is too high is the Quest Ultra sensitive which has a range of >=29.

    Hi HRTstudent,

Yea, I was having bitching episodes and feeling bloated all the time for no reason. I did the labcorp Estradiol test and it was 39.5 with the range being 7.6 - 42.6. My doctor sd I was a little high but not to bad. I did feel better once it came down until it got too low then the same symptoms returned.

    Thanks

    3 drops EOD or 0.25mg a week
If that was too much then perhaps you could drop the dose by 1/4. Also, it might be helpful to time the dose about 24 hours after your shot. That way your AI dose is highest when your testosterone is highest. When T is at it's peak so would be aromatization.

Get frequent bloodwork and look this over with your doctor regularly too... anastrozole is very finicky.

Thanks HRTstudent. Yea, when I first started the AI I was taking EOD and not timing it with my injection schedule so some times it was the day before, on, or after the injection. I think for now I'm leaning toward not doing anything unless I start feeling the symptoms again and then I'll do 2 drops the day after my injection and re-test again in about 3 weeks. Thanks again!
