PLEASE Help
Gentleman,
Hope this finds you all well! Try to be brief. I used to lift 5-6 days a week depending on spilt etc, never competed but was on excellent shape.
Stats:
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 350 ( down from 490 from TOTAL Endocrone Axis shutdown )
Sleep: Insomnia my whole life , even when young.....best ever is maybe 6hrs
Diagnosed last year Hypopituitary, Hypogonadism , and TONS crap that they cause: depression etc etc etc.......
Seeing approx 12 specialists now (feels like job) quality of life is just above horizontal.... Have enough energy for 2-3 hrs then wiped out for rest day and night
Endocron has ONLY Prescribed me Test Cyp 300mg Once/wk.....last 8 months or so.... ZERO increase in levels..... NONE!
Estradiol levels have been between 142-189 and all 9 blood tests
GH: only showed up on 1 or 2 tests, and was >.1
IGF-1: only showed up on few tests and was also very low ( dont have in front me)
My "thought" and research are seemingly showing....along with 2 Drs saying.... I should start HGH, TEST, A-Dex....HCG , Nolvade...
Any and ALL thought and opinions would be GREATLY appreciated!!
GOD BLESS!!!!

You need some anastrozole, NOW!

No, never any use of any before........ Don't have all papers with me, but know all the results were between 110 and 186 was highest I tested..... All blood tests were at same lab etc
Labcorp Ref Range: 384-1197ng/dl
Estradiol is insanely high yes I've learned that few ago, scared the heck out of me the medical research I've read!! I DID just last week start ON MY OWN......... Because my Endocron will NOT give me Anti- E.......... I started Liquid Arimidex , within few days....noticed a touch difference.
As per "WHY"...... All I know, is like I said I've been diagnosed Hypopituitary.....prior as well as Hypogonadism ..... All but a few hormones/ chemicals are shut down in my Pituitary ..... In fact until this past week they though wast Tumor..... MRI DOES show "flattened" Pituitary with empty sell......
So, that's about all I know...... Other than they have me seeing WAYYYY too many specialists, taking WAYYYY too many pills....which can't be helping my Test levels etc....
Research I've read...... New England med journal , Endcron Journal etc......looks conclusive that HGH, TEst, HCG , with Anti-E......run wisely and monitored closely and regularly will REALLY straighten me out.....

I'm sure all of your thyroid levels have been checked??
The way to get the most informed answers is to get a hold of all bloodwork and post. it-with ranges. If you don't have any, your doc(s) will give it to you if you ask.
Without those, everything is merely speculation and guesswork.
-
03-22-2013, 05:31 PM #7
Yes, all Thyroid has been checked.... Everything I think that can be has been....
TSH: WAS high, now is in Ref range I'm told due to the Psych putting me on Adderall which he claims is masking TSH and also helping my ADD, along with boosting my energy levels from 0 to 1....
All other Thyroid levels have been in reference ranges in all tests
What should I post??
I literally have folders full of blood work , MRIs, etc etc

Will do, take me bit to get all sorted..... Quite bit info....and quite redundant

Sounds like you have a very long, detailed history. Obviously, you'll want to post the most recent bw. Like was stated above, post it even if your docs say it's normal.

You need a new Doctor; E2 that high and no management? Criminal. It's why you feel like you do.
Read the stickies at the top of the forum especially the one on Estradiol.

Hi. I re-read your first post. So, you are seeing 12 specialists? That's just wild. This will probably take a while to figure out. Don't give up. Again, you might want to post recent bw. It's a start, anyway. Obviously, the only way out of this mess is to take charge, get educated, and do some leg work. The status quo ain't cutting it. So, just keep reading and searching for answers. I bet you're a praying man. Good place to start.

EXTREMELY thankful to have found these sites and kind people willing to help with info, suggestions expiriences etc..... It's really making a difference!

Yes you seem to be like alot of us:
hypopituitary
hypogonadism
hypothyroidism
diabetic
overweight
Time for some work, are you on test yet?

Obviously, your tsh is way high. Years ago, mine was about the same and life was horrible-30 pds heavier, zero energy, horrible sleep and libido.
I'll leave the rest to the more knowledgeable guys

03-26-2013, 07:45 PM #22
Yes, on Test..... 400/wk
-
03-27-2013, 12:13 AM #23
I don't think you are healthy enough to be running a cycle right now, because 400mg/wk is a cycle dosage. That might be why that it appears your E2 has gone wild. You might be better served by being on a TRT dose of approx. 100mg/wk. High E2 can make a guy feel pathetic.
-
03-27-2013, 08:31 AM #24
Please tell me this is a typo. If your doc has prescribed one injection of 400mg/ week and NOTHING ELSE, this could, very well, be why you feel like you do. Your estrogen will soar without something to combat it. As T stated, this is not trt. It's a cycle. Your doc doesn't have a clue and is screwing you up. Time for a change, my friend.

Nope.... This is what TWO....... TWO Endocrons......have told me to do..... Keep in mind, this is after 9 months or so of ZERO progress of my levels moving up
I WOULD NOT...... Being doing any this on own, or fly by night..... So EVERYTHING so far Dr... except, just started Anti-E, because .....the insane amount medical data I've read coupled with how I feal etc
They started me on 300mg every 2 weeks...then after month, switched to every week..... Then bumped to 400mg/week after ZERO increase in Test levels etc......
My Estradiol Levels were that High from day ONE, FIRST BLOOD TEST....... Please keep in mind..... There's a SERIOUS Pituitary issue involved...... It's NOT just Low Test etc...... I wish it was
As you can imagine, learning such great info from you fine gentleman....and reading Medical papers etc.... Is REALLY making me FURIOUS with my Drs now.....
Please keep the thoughts and suggestions coming.....the mean a GREAT DEAL to me
GOD BLESS YOU!!

You seem to be having some trouble getting the test into your system....maybe you should only pin IM in the quad at least until you are doing good and your test level is up.
-
03-27-2013, 11:52 AM #27
I only inject IM into Glutes now.... Was rotating Glutes , quads, delts....but Endocron Jerfferson told me to JUST do Glutes for while that should "help"

Doc not worried about tsh until it's over 10!?! That's bizarre. Newer guidlines state that 3.0 is the top range. I'm still hoping that one of the more knowledgeable guys will chime in.
